hang on, are we seriously the favourites for the league with 4 games left? this is happening? it isnt a joke or something?

No jokes allowed here, fella. :pac:

Its fantastic, isn't it? I barely thought we'd challenge for 4th. I laugh in my own past self's face now!

I think there's something wrong with me. I can't explain it, but I feel more negative about our title prospects now than I did this time yesterday. The feeling of impending doom grows larger with every passing fixture....Bizarre, but true.

    PastKnex is a fool.
PastOTT is a genius however, I always knew we would challenge and I actually posted to that effect during the summer.

So catching up on some of the antics but too much to read through everything. Did OPR get a permanent ban? What did he do? Be a real shame he is a good contributor. Who else did we lose?
    rarnes1 wrote: »
Not sure how much we can talk about bannings etc but afaik there might be a thread about it in the DRP forum

So now its Augerooo, LuckyLoyd and OPR banned.

If thats true Well the Moding has gone way ott. I always thought that trolling and the lacking basic manners were the only rules not to be broken in the soccer forum. Everything else was just a bit of craic and added to forum.

Happy Monday and the cart still has four wheels to the haters.

Think I've had too much booze now, time for me bed

I just keep pretending in my little mind its last year and we are actually 7th - its been working so far for me, I won't stop thinking we are seventh even if we win the league.... :/

I know I haven't always been kind to Liverpool but I have to applaud what Rodgers and Liverpool are doing this season win or lose.

getting the thread back on topic

as he's made bluntly clear onwards to Norwich who will cause trouble as they are battling for survival
again smash them out of the blocks
the diamond will be used again
Agger might be back in to add some experience
    Allen and Lucas will start

Sterling's face at the end is class!
Interesting today that when it went 2-2 our 3 players that stepped up were Coutinho, Sterling and Flanagan (IMO)
If we don't win now, I'll be devastated!

    This is getting scary!

Just wish SuperRush would go ahead and create the next match thread now

Lots to say about the game today but one thing that stands out is Sterling. I think he has been our best player for quite a few weeks now. He has really stepped up when required. Fair play - and only 19 years old. In three seasons time he will only be 22....scary.

So do I have this right?

If Liverpool beat Chelsea and win the rest, they win.

If Chelsea beat Liverpool and win the rest, they win.

If Chelsea and Liverpool draw, City can win.

That Gerrard video gives me goosebumps, I have been critical of his role as captain in recent years but that is great to see.

On another note Owayn...I am onto you, onto you like a panda is onto a tin.

We go to Norwich. Exactly the same.

    1 yes
2 no - City win if the don't drop any points
    3 same as 2

Basically, any result other than a pool win puts it back in city's hands. Chelsea still need City to drop points regardless.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Chelsea's other 3 remaining fixtures are so handy. You couldn't hand pick them better. We have 2 very difficult away games imo. I still make Chelsea or city favorites.

So Chelsea away to Cardiff is handy
But liverpool away to Norwich is very difficult
Can't see the difference myself unless Cardiff are down by then if not the will be scraping for their lives

Let's get Norwich out of the way first. As I've said before, nothing is won yet, we worry about our own games no point looking at everyone else's fixtures and hoping they drop points.

I will say one thing, feels good that at this stage of the season we are thinking about the last few games and where they may bring us as opposed to having a collective meltdown and already compiling our fantasy list of summer transfer targets.

The latter element has been transferred to the United thread...

Who would have thought, that with four games to go, Liverpool are the only team with their destiny in their own hands?

We don't need other teams to slip up. Look after ourselves, we look after the title. Simple as that.

I can't wrap my head around it. Unprecedented for me. Unprecedented and completely unexpected.

Yep and you know what? We deserve it. We have had some dodgy moments (as does every team at some stage) but since December we have been excellent.

Cant wait for Norwich although I am still emotionally drained from yesterday.

God, that was tough going yesterday. I was so concerned about them going ahead at 2-2 that I forgot to hope we would score again! What a rush...

Feel bad for Hendo, it was a really dumb challenge, adrenelin got the better of him. Looked like he wanted to cry when he was leaving the pitch, and then he missed the celebration and huddle. Very glad that we have Allen and Lucas as back-up, no need to throw in a kid or change the formation...
