Hard to predict what BR will do with Hendo out and worse still Sturridge not fit. He surprised me today bringing on Moses ahead of Lucas and it was telling he brought on Allen instead of either to begin with.

I just have a feeling that he would rather be missing Sturridge for the Norwich game than Chelsea and might use the "tight hamstring" to not risk him - and my gut says he'll play Allen in ahead of Lucas.

The team is on such a high i reckon i could go in at Centre half right now and play at that level ;))) - playing in a winning team like that should be easy. Its just great to see.

Just a sidenote on the game today - isn't it amazing that everyone zoned in on Dimechaelis as the weak link for City and to be fair to Suarez he did roll him a few times, yet Kompany was the week link in the end. I admit i thought he was terrible while playing in Centre Mid for City but been pretty good since he was at centre back.

Also, i wonder what BR said to get that level out of Coutinho for the first 30 mins in particular - he was incredible for his appetite for tackles! He was brilliant going forward as we all expect but today he showed how fired up he was with his tackling display. Brilliant stuff.

If we just give up Turtyturd as a scapegoat, he is evil though, will we be able to go back to the way it was?

James Pearce from the Echo tweeted that he'd be surprised if Sturridge plays against Norwich next weekend. Said he was limping in the mixed zone after the game.

could the konoplyanka balls-up cost us at the death? I'd say ayre is sweating buckets on the sturridge injury news

Huge win today. Did not get to see the game only the highlights tonight.
It is unreal we are fighting for the title.
10 wins in a row. Suarez must be due a few goals against Norwich next week.

I wouldn't say Ayre gives a crap right now. I'd say he currently somewhere in Liverpool on Gods shoulders.

You know Suarez is a very special player when he looked out of sorts today but still had the best assist iv'e seen this season for the first goal.

Thats true but he does look off colour, not sure what his beef is, needs to pull it together again and be more effective generally / be a leader of the team. This sounds ridiculously critical considering his astounding contribution so far, but that's what we will need without Studge/Hendo imo

Think it would be unfair to say that.

Kono could have come in and started alot of games and might have not contributed what the likes of Sterling and Coutinho have over the past number of weeks.

When you see Kompany today playing through the pain barrier, showing a bit of warrior spirit, there was no way he was missing that game

Sturridge has been a revelation for us, but you do get the impression that only a slight knock on him physically can knock his performance entirely.

I do recall Rodgers saying something similar a while back, para phrasing now but something along the lines of Suarez being capable of world class performances when only 75% fit, Sturridge needs to be 100% at all times

Yep Studge is your original thorough-bred horse with all the health issues inherent, when he's fresh like at start of season he is dynamite.. a one game absence and few days off and he'll be ok i think

So catching up on some of the antics but too much to read through everything. Did OPR get a permanent ban? What did he do? Be a real shame he is a good contributor. Who else did we lose?

I can't believe you went and posted images of Cambells Soup. You bloody nutter, Owayne.

I would say keep things low key here for a little while until we can get things progressed upon over in the Feedback thread. Putting this one wildly off topic, especially after recent warnings, won't really help our case over there, even if this wouldn't have happened if things were dealt with as normal.

    Still, just a thought.

I know we are in pole position, but still too many games to go. One slip up and we are third. Still too early to be getting excited. We are looking good for automatic champions league spot, thats all I'm happy about right now.

Not sure how much we can talk about bannings etc but afaik there might be a thread about it in the DRP forum

There was a home game back in November (maybe December) when we crushed.

Sterling had a mare however, it was the nadir of his poor performances. He had a terrible first touch, consistently ran up blind alleys and when he tried to pass to a team-mate he was as likely to hit the corner flag.

And with the game won Suarez spent a good bit of the last 20 minutes trying to set him up for a goal, telling him to keep making the same runs, egging him on. I remember at one stage Suarez actually tried to pass to Sterling when a shot on goal was the more obvious approach. Sterling missed, he was dreadful.

The groundwork for the opening goal today was laid that night.

Cant see us having such good fortune against Norwich compared to recent games, Norwich will really be up for it. I hope Suarez continues in his good form in this fixture.

Must resist to post a can of worms gif.

    .

I don't know. One team every season goes into freefall in the final 10 games. This season it looks like Norwich could be that team.

Looking at their remaining fixtures, you could be right.

They don't get any tougher, lets just hope its not a banana for ourselves.

Norwich have a horrible run in but i think they will take points off some one (hopefully not us)

That was absolutely amazing, one of the best pieces of play I've ever seen.

You'll wake up shortly and realise that Roy Hodgson is our manager still and he has signed Carlton Cole as our new number 9
