Aided yet again by that inept referee (who has gifted you games in the past) who failed to see a clear handball, send Suarez off for diving and kicking the ball away.

and then the highjacking of a campaign for justice to further raise the profile of the club - cause that's what it has descended to.

Hope ye are proud of the club.

    Immensely.

Hope you're proud of that joke of a post. Using Hillsborough as stick to beat us with, today of all days, must be something you are particularly happy with.

Sterling is beginning to look like a player that would cost you a LOT of money to buy.

A lot of the lads thanking it are doing it as its such a ridiculous post, I would imagine. Not because they agree with the sentiment.

I love to see it lads. Makes it so much better. Have a read of the Manu thread as well. Apparently they "gifted" us 6 points. Makes this season all the sweeter :)

Why do people (I'm looking at you, Alan Smith) keep saying if Chelsea win all their games then they will be champions.

    It's incorrect!

Credit to Rodgers it was a ballsy selection to play both Sterling and Coutinho today but hell did it pay off both were fantastic.

Sterling's intelligence on the pitch is something else for someone so young, he gona be something very very special I think

Thought Sterling and Coutinho were both outstanding today. Big hearts for small men

SAS, Gerrard etc. have been outstanding, but today it was the likes of Coutinho and Sterling that stood up to be counted.

Looking at Chelsea's fixtures I think they will win all their remaining games outside the Liverpool one. Away to Swansea was probably the toughest one on paper they had left outside their trip to Anfield. That would put them on 84 points.

Liverpool could afford to draw with Chelsea and stay ahead of them but only if they win all their other 3 games. But a draw in that game means City could sneak back in front again if they win all their remaining 6 games.

    Basically gotta keep winning.

Sterling didn't even need a moment to adjust to playing through the middle when he started there against United the first time. He just looks so assured and has the World at his feet in terms of talent, he really does.

Really looking forward to seeing how he progresses with this Club now.

    Classless post.

Thankfully not all Everton fans are this bitter. In fact when it comes to Hillsbrough Everton FC are full of class.

It might be worth checking out your clubs history regarding Hillsbrough. You probably won't though judging by past posts.

    Bitterness is an awful thing.

Chelsea game is gonna be bigger than today's if anyone can handle it!

Expect Chelsea couldnt have asked for more, playing against ten men for most of the game today.
Think we will need to beat Chelsea to win the league, which wont be easy at all

Very, very surprised to learn that poster is an Everton fan. Talk about a huge lack of awareness.

One lad said it would be the best experience in his life if we blew it from here

    1. you'd swear we were 10 points clear or something

    2. doesn't say much for his life experience thus far

Liverpool are on 77 points. Chelsea are on 75 points. Both have 34 games played. If Chelsea win all of their remaining games, including against Liverpool, they're champions.

    Am I wrong?

City still have to go to Everton who will be fighting for a Champions League place,so I think they will slip up there which gives you room to drop two points at home against Chelsea.

How Everton and there fans must love knowing that they could hand the title to Liverpool metaphorical speaking :D haha.

They only finish ahead of Liverpool if Man City win their games they will be Champions
