    Staggered reps + kumho tyres = 850

I reckon a real set without tyres second hand would most likely cost that. I know reps are softer, but having had a set for 2 years, I reckon it'd be alright with reps again. Getting crazy spending a lot on a car not worth very much to be honest.

Dropped my car off to get the oil leak checked out. Hopefully it's not too painful. :(

Quick, possibly stupid question, but I had a half day so I set about sprucing the car up for the NCT tomorrow, aaaand I came across this. Don't know whether to pull it out or leave it there, will it be a fail? It doesn't look like it's a deep screw. Not my call, but what do ye think?

Spare wheel on, drive to a tyre shop, have them take it out and plug the hole.
Cost me a fiver and lasted me months... Until I crashed the car. :)

They can probably wont even notice but considering how cheap it is to replace them...

They will be able to plug that tyre without taking it off the car, you could do it yourself with a DIY plugging kit.

Apart from the crashing the car bit, I hope.

I was convinced i'd have at least two pages of fails :pac: when they brought it in first, the bonnet was opened and within two seconds of it opening three of them were around it pointing and staring, I was convinced it had already failed, Looks like i did do the right things, with a little help from a few people

Changing that Rad has turned into a palava.

Removing the hoses is a joke, they're on there so tight. After 2/3 hours I had the rad out, which had ruptured in a strange way, but whatever! Now I'm stuck trying to put the bloody hoses back on! Have the rad in place, but not connected in any way. Tired now!

Sold the 520 there about 30 mins ago. It's finally gone from here.

Was a bit sad to see it go but they drove it off in style to say the least!

Onwards and upwards, I might get another one for this winter again :pac:

Got the tyre plugged, took literally about 2 mins. €7 is what it cost. At least that's one thing less that will be on the fail list tomorrow :o

What's the problem? Awkward hoseclips? I usually bin any awkward springy clips in frustration and use jubilee clips.
