Cannot see anyone risking him till he proves he is fit.
Must be as serious as the press suggested all along.

I couldn't have that...Rooney for all his past indiscretions (and I wanted him gone myself last summer) has been the one player this season who has dug in, displayed great will and fight and no little talent. He has been responsible more than anyone else for just about keeping our heads above water.
    .

Without a shadow of a doubt and no room for discussion. DDG has been our best player this season. Rooney's been good too, but Dave has been for me the best keeper in the league.

Moyes' first signing was a RB from Uruguay called Guillermo Varela

Completely incorrect. While he was the first player to join the club after Moyes was manager, the deal was in place long before.

Gundogan ruled out of the rest of the season and World Cup,back issues it seems. He won't be leaving Dortmund anytime soon.

Really sorry to hear this. Always a shame when careers are cut short or threatened by a bad injury. Good luck to him whereever he ends up playing or otherwise. Great footballer.

But in that time Dortmund should be back challenging again, they have one of the worlds best managers and some of the top players already

How exactly can you say Dortmund will be back challenging next year. Bayern are 20 points clear of them this season and taking their best striker in the summer. Dortmund have no hope of getting near Bayern next season no matter how good their manager is.

Shaw, Kroos and Reus in this summer?

With Nani leaving, Reus would be the perfect replacement imo.

Shaw to plug the impending hole at LB.

Think Wellbeck has been very good this season. When called upon to fill in up front he scored a good few goals. Also think he could be a big player next season being an inside forward from the left.

I like the chap. Honest lad, good guy and gives 100%. I cant fault him there.

I would not say he has had very good season though. Misses too many big chances in big games for my liking.

If he improves in that area he could be lethal, but I have been saying that for 3 years now. He still young enough, but he aint at stage where he is spring chicken now either.

I would be interested to know what you would do in summer buying and selling wise Pro?

Would you keep Kagawa and RVP?

    What about backroom team?

I would try to sell RvP. Himself and Rooney are both as good as each other but Rooney has the advantage in age, even if he is a bollocks when negotiating a contract.

Then have Rooney as first choice CF and Mata as first choice 10. Chico, Welbeck and Kagawa then being back up. Welbeck and Kagawa can also take the odd game on the wing to tide them over if needed.

It seems crazy to sell a player like RvP but it is a cluster fvck of a situation with no easy fix. That's the best fix I can think of.

I have no opinion on the back room staff. I know very little of what they're like.

Jayzus, all we needed last summer was 2 players, LB and CM. And you saw the panic on the last day.

Imagine if we go into the next deadline day with 0 out of the required 4-5 signings secured!

    Is rather not imagine that

Is fifth and sixth definitely getting a Europa League place this season?

What happens if Arsenal finish fifth but win the FA Cup? will there be any change then? will seventh get a place too?

no point really talking bout Klopp now imo.
he is the obvious man to dig us out of this debacle but Moyes is going absolutely no where this summer. it pains me to write that.
we're stuck with the stoopid f**ker for another while
lets hope hes a shambles in the transfer market and fails to land anyone
it'll be better in the long run (the alternative is that he buys a load of turkeys for big money and then our transfer kitty for a season or two is gone)

I presume you mean 9 - selling RVP and continuing to play Rooney at 10 would be crazy!

    Sorry, yeah of course/

Kagawa was not good enough last night. Neither were the rest of the team. Whatever you think about him being our best player, he wasn't good enough.

We played for the counter attack against a team who were using their fullbacks in central midfield (and so leaving lots of space at the back) and we were still severely lacking in cutting edge on the counter.

I fully understand what type of player Kagawa is and can appreciate what he contributes. I was delighted when we signed him and have defended him in here numerous times.

I can also appreciate what his limitations are and I can see how he isn't suited to playing from wide. Last night he defended well in front of Evra, but hadn't got the legs to get forward enough from that position to help the team do the attacking that was needed.

Hmmm, I suspect there is little good in a future that includes us discussing this - let's just say we're very far apart on the matter and disengage!

I follow him on twitter. He's not the usual bs artist. I've heard he's mates with some of the players. Would live to know who he actually is though.

They're all spoofers! When it's announced on ManUtd.com, or BBC.com, or Sky Sports News as being 100% done, then believe it. It's better for your health that way.

Is it the same fella who put money on Chelsea signing Ronaldo last summer so he could get better odds on him coming to Utd?

I'm not buying into anything on twitter. I said earlier that I didn't believe that Reus or shaw would sign for us.
His twitter account is locked. Doesn't look for more followers. The likes of Indy are there to get people onto their sites for money.

Yes, but why leave a club he supports and who he turned down Bayern for to go to a United team in the middle of rebuilding and dont look like winning the league in the same term as Dortmund

Just to be clear, what I was saying had nothing to do with Reus, it was solely about the pointlessness of your Totti example.

You hope United get hammered by Bayern. You hope we don;t sign anybody in the summer. I really really must not understand what a fan is.

If Arsenal win the cup and already have European qualification, then the runners up will get the Europa League spot.

5th is the automatic EL spot, and 6th will have it as City won the League Cup.

We've been linked to Santiago Arias of PSV for £6mil, a RB. 22 years old. Haven't seen anything of him, and only moved to PSV last summer. Might see him play for Colombia in the summer.

Don't ask me why it has one ruling for the FA Cup and a different ruling for the League Cup.

I presume if both finalists of the FA cup have already secured European qualification, then the EL spot would go back to the league, but not an option this year.

all my posts contain one consistent theme my friend, there's no mystery to them.
i cannot see a time where / when Moyes is a fit at United. Therefore every day he spends at the club is a day we fall further behind domestic and european rivals as far as i am concerned. Right now the club continue to back him, and thats their decision. so circumstances need to change before he is turfed out. i just hope we dont have to wait too long for this, and hopefully he wont have blown too much cash while we await his exit. Simples..

Yeah Welbeck has been great. Agree that De Gea has been our best player, with Rooney just behind him.

Not in a million years is Kroos gonna come to us in the summer. Unless he is told to leave but he can play for any team in the world. Even the likes of Koke wouldn't be interested, why would he? We are a bigger team than AM but they are challenging for the title this year and could end up winning the Champions League.

If Shaw was a few years older, would we still want to go for him? I think RB is as much of a problem as LB. I'd love Coleman for to come in.

In fairness it looks and sounds like you are prophesying Doom.
And instead of like most fans wishing that you are wrong and the club succeeds you are wishing said Doom so you can be proved right.

Pro F is underestimating Kagawa's performance last night, essentially all Fletcher and Carrick did was sit in front of the back four, Kagawa had to retain possession and provide a focus of attack while being continuously pressed by Kroos, Gotze & Muller.
