Fair enough the vegetarian/chicken fillet incident is quite douchey but there is the possibility he didn't know that it was a vegetarian dinner the three of you were having.

I have seen this before. You're not going to ever get along with this bloke so I suggest you just be civil and give him a wide birth. You posts (specifically your op) do come across as homophobic (hopefully thats not who you are) but be weary talking like this in work as it may seem so to work colleagues or your boss that you are not getting along because he's gay and land you a nice big P45

If I had been there I would have told Megan that she is more beautiful than her friend before either Jay or the OP thought of it. Then I would have taken her out for a nice steak dinner and this thread would have been about me. Nobody would even have heard of Jay.

I'm a bit lost. He did it on purpose, as in to be a d1ck. But you said he'd do anything to get people to like him. That doesn't quite add up.
Did anyone tell him not to use the vegetarian dip? I have a vegan friend and often make things that it turns out she can't eat. Are you sure it wasn't a mistake? He may not have even realize you're vegetarian. As you said, the girls ordered it too, but they're not.
