Cows made pure shire out of last years reseed last night.
Counted 4 cows bulling as well so that's the main reason.
Can't have it every way I suppose

Damage in spring is a disaster, seem to get away a little more i the back end. I suppose if everything was right no damage should be the rule but you sometimes get caught

Its really the end of that paddock that's in bits. The wood starts there so they stood at it all night.
Sun is out here now an there in a fresh paddock that's fairly dry.

Ah you were lucky neighbours cows got out on the road last night heard the bawling so got up at 5am found them and put them in the yard and crush.

Rang him this morning and told him I had the cows he came with the family and with ours we turned them back about 8 for milking. He said thanks and we left in at that. Went to mass and when I came out I got attacked about my cows thay had ploughed a few gardens down the road from us and the neighbours were going to sue and had photos taken and everything. After about 10 mins of abuse everyone looking at it I quietly told them who the cows belonged to.

I loved every minute of it and then stood there demanding my apology :D:D

Will you run a grass harrow on the poached bit when it dries out or no?

If I had one ha. I'll see what happens with it growing back. I'll throw the old harrow here on it when I'm reseeding the bit here this month

Nothing like running in a gale force headwind. Feels like you are going nowhere

Heavy shower earlier looked like it was going to pour all day, lovely blue skies now but like above it's fairly windy. Will take that over wet & cold mind you!
