    Chamagne (I think) 520 Sport in Limerick @ €2.5k with 18" BBS.

    ;)

The black one isn't a real M-Sport is it? Just has the kit. Interior is the SE one as far as I can make out.

As for the one in Clare, it looks nice, could do with some better photos though. I take it 130,000 miles is nothing to that engine?

The sense of community around classic cars for the most part is fantastic :) There is the odd retard that just have a classic for the cheap tax and to hell with maintenance :mad:

Next year, everything going to plan, I should get to start to get something done to this thing :)

I sold it on the 27th, only had it 3 days. Its not very much my cup of tae.

I really like the whole classic thing, meeting other genuine enthusiasts is great, I chatted to the owner of the Standard for an hour before looking at it. He has a Datsun Micra apparently.

And afterwards I was talking to the driver of an MG Midget at traffic lights on Collins avenue this evening in the Wolseley.

Out of curiosity if you don't mind sharing how much did the beetle sell for?

Not at all, I sold it for €650. Keep in mind it needed work, wasn't so pretty underneath tbh.

    What a day!

Seen a legend been made, and seen another being brought back to life :D all while working on my own yoke, cruise control is lovely :D I think I seen young MM passing through my neck of the woods today! A very very clean 335 in the same colour with the same new headlights passed me, and a mivec colt got a bit schooled on the journey home :pac:

Randomly got myself into a drag race with a Sante Fe, keep in mind I'm driving my Dad's Megane at the minute...
I was surprised with the Megane, neck an neck until 4th and I started to pull away.

Weirdest driving experience I've ever had. Hahaha

It was a 318 TDS indeed... Don't know why there was a 325 badge on it. If I would've had it any longer, I would have taken it off.

Auto lights are the best invention ever on cars. I've never had or thought they would be of any benefit I just assume they were more of a gimmick. But now I'm converted. When it starts to get even slightly dull the dims come on. At night when you open the car the lights come on and obviously stay on when the car is on. Then when you turn of the car the lights stay on for 30 seconds so you can see where your going. The ambient and footwell lighting is fairly cool as well. Only figured out today it had auto wipers two.

My dad is home for the weekend and is far from a vw fan he's never had an actual vw but always just thought they were over priced specially the golfs. He always thought the focus was good value for money and reasonably nice to drive. Anyway he drove the golf and he was speechless. He said it is literally nicer and better than the focus in every way which is my view on it. The focus doesn't even come close to it. And I'm not talking about reliability just comparing features and how they drive.

I don't like auto lights at all. I always just over ride them to always be on...

Bit of tape over the sensor does this.

Obviously if it's raining or bad visibility I would over ride them. I think there hand at nigh though car lights up when it's unlocked and lights stay on when you switch it off. Not exactly a essential feature but nice to have them.

Well I don't have them in my car just in the old folks when I drive theirs. All the other features work in the Kias in the always on position like the follow me home etc.

My mums hyundai turns the lights off when you take out the key if they're in the on position. It has an 'auto' position too which is never used. My honda has auto but I always drive with the lights on so ill tape over the sensor one of the days.

The Optima does anyway, I'm not positive about the Ceed though, I don't drive it much so it mightn't be the same on all the models.

Does anyone know what these lads are. On the top right and left of the windscreen. My neighbours 98 almera has them and our old 02 astra too... They look like speakers or something for phone connectivity, but I dunno.
