    Only thing I can find.
A 26-year-old man has been shot in Ballyfermot, Dublin.

It happened at around 8.30pm at Lally Road.

He was taken to St James's Hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The scene is preserved for a technical examination.

Are you at the scene, theballz???

I'm looking out my window here and can't see anything.

Maybe I should open the curtains.

Oh no! What have they done to our lovely Ballyfermot?! It must have been an accidental shooting, maybe a hunting accident.

Ballyfermot doesn't deserve half the crap it gets from people who have probably never even been there. It's not in the news that much. I lived there for 8 years and still visit regularly. For the most part it has been fine.

..the thing is, theres reporting on real wars, with pictures, videos and all, that help get the whole "war" idea across, yet we still get this kind of thing.

Dont do that, snipers are confused by curtains, you want all the protection you can get in a war zone. Although if they get the mortars out you wont be able to tell until it's too late.

No point in typing that ten minutes later - he's probably dead by now.
