    Only thing I can find.
A 26-year-old man has been shot in Ballyfermot, Dublin.

It happened at around 8.30pm at Lally Road.

He was taken to St James's Hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The scene is preserved for a technical examination.

Are you at the scene, theballz???

Oh no! What have they done to our lovely Ballyfermot?! It must have been an accidental shooting, maybe a hunting accident.

Ballyfermot doesn't deserve half the crap it gets from people who have probably never even been there. It's not in the news that much. I lived there for 8 years and still visit regularly. For the most part it has been fine.

..the thing is, theres reporting on real wars, with pictures, videos and all, that help get the whole "war" idea across, yet we still get this kind of thing.

Dont do that, snipers are confused by curtains, you want all the protection you can get in a war zone. Although if they get the mortars out you wont be able to tell until it's too late.

you do know the real reason he asked the question

    from mr mings twitter

Farcical question for a farcical Minister. This is the original question which was refused. Would like an answer.
To ask the Minister for Defence if he is aware that US soldiers carry their rifles while on board planes using Shannon Airport; is the Minister aware that a US Airforce plane which landed at Shannon Airport was equipped with a 30mm cannon; would the Minister consider holding a referendum to make Irish Neutrality absolute and by so doing exclude Ireland from the war manoeuvres of other nations, and if he will make a statement on the matter

Too late now - your earlier report has caused ructions. The Finglas Massive has mobilised its armour to pacify the area. According to Reichsmarshal Deco "me hole" Kelly, he intends to calm the situation by "givin them a new gee".

You said originally two people were shot last night. I can only find info on the one on Lally road.

Three young lads spotted at ballyfermot shops,
One having a smoke, the other two just having a chat...
Overheard talk of Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane, they also mentioned about possibly going for a drive through Maccy D's on Kylemore road.

    More updates to follow.
