This college lark is getting on my nerves.... Microsoft office is a load of ****

Engines nearly right, just the loom to assemble. I have pics but too busy to upload (just dropping in like a drop bear for now :p )

I want to start page numbering at say page 5

Follow all sorts of silly instructions to do said simple task

    Computer says no

I knew I just should have stayed on google drive....!

Ugh I know this! Haven't got word on my laptop here, but I'll check it out tomorrow for you, if that's any use :)
Edit: On the Insert tab, in the Headers & Footers group, click Page Number, and then click Format Page Numbers.
In the Start at box, type 5.

I just noticed my page numbering starts on the title page. Must sort that. Will be following your instruction NM.

Took me ages to sort line numbering to start after the title page and table of contents. Head was wrecked.

Still no DSC + wet = roundabout fun :D Annoying that the autobox sometimes skips into 2nd gear and it gets me out of the slide.

Did the 159 only come with the JTDm 1.9? Or was there a JTD as well? I'm seeing conflicting info. Any easy way to determine what BHP one has?

They were just JTDM. As far as I can tell the only way to know is by the amount of Valves. There was both an 8V and 16V 1.9. 120BHP for the 8V and 150BHP for the 16V.

    Have you tried openoffice?

A bit better than that msoffice imo.

You only got the alloys done a few weeks ago! Why the selling of it so soon??

Whittling away at insurance companies all day, down from 685 to 565. I say that's the limit now. Worth the effort of a few phone calls.

Chaps, is DoneDeal not working properly today? When I put the parameters of cars I'm interested in, it's only returning 3 results where yesterday there were pages and pages.

I was going to keep it for another while but some things have changed and I might as well see if someone wants it.
I'm going to keep away from donedeal for as long as possible.

Works fine. Tell me what you're looking for and I will search for it too and then I can tell you if it's just you or not.

Weird- might just be the work machine. I'm looking for something between 1.0 and 1.4 litres, €500-1200, Dublin/Meath/Louth and Kildare, manual transmission.

If you can run that, perhaps I could see the link.

Seems like there is something wrong with DoneDeal after all. Works kinda slow and I got the picture of the crying turtle and all that. Only got a few results as well. Anyway, here's a link you can try later.

Just collected the golf there absolutely delighted with it :) The owner had it polished and all. There is literally not a mark on it anywhere it's unbelievable. Seriously nice to drive not a rattle or knock out it. I've never seen a van with so many extras everywhere I look I see another extra. Ill put up some pictures although it's dirty already as are roads are covered in muck at the moment. So happy with it :)

Had the pleasure of seeing and hearing both an E60 M5 and an E39 M5 within a minute of each other a few minutes ago.

    Reminded me of this:

    E39 all day long!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,146 ✭✭✭✭Alanstrainor

Yup, E39 all day. Although I bet that e60 has an aftermarket/****e exhaust that's ruining the V10 goodness!

Looks like it, If I remember correctly the E60 has circular tail pipes stock and the one in the video has oval pipes.

Ever wondered what happens when you leave your car into a main dealer to be serviced? I did. So for a laugh I checked the dashcam after I got it back. After driving it into the garage from the yard, my "technician" sat inside it singing away to such hits as Christina Aguilras "fighter". When he gets out and is about to open the bonnet, he finally clocks the "weird thing below the mirror", his mouth drops when his boss tells him "it's a camera for the insurance":D
