Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Despite an outstanding performance from Marcus Smart 23 pts 13 reb 7 ast and 6stl.
He and his OKS Cowboys go home in the 2nd round for the 2nd year in a row

Interesting game between Oklahoma State and Gonzaga. Refereeing was a bit of a joke, and it ended with 61 fouls
! Zags were in the lead throughout though. They'll be going up against Arizona if I'm not mistaken. I'll watch it just for the battle of centers.

Fecking George Washing let me down

Great game between Providence and North Carolina. This kid Bryce Cotton got hot, scored 36, UNC cruising up 9 or so and Providence go on an 11 - 0 run in second half to set up grandstand finish. Carolina managed it just about, but was a great performance from Cotton. I'm a big Carolina fan so was a nervy second half but great game of basketball. Some huge plays from both sides in what turned into a bit of a shoot out at the end. After gloating about the Duke loss to Mercer earlier thought we might be going the same way, won't tempt faith again!!

Will keep my eye on Cotton, not sure if he has any draft prospects (he's a senior), but could do no wrong tonight

Terrible day for my bracket, In an attempt to gain points I went with George Washington, SF Austin and Nebraska. All were beaten, OKS and Duke lost aswell
Stanford also beat New Mexico. Just as disaster :(

Not one bracket made it past the first round of the Buffett $1 billion challenge, March madness personified the last two days! Would have expected a few first round perfects at least. 3 left in the ESPN bracket comp. Only saw this thread late and would have joined in with yas otherwise :(

Wow. Could the biggest upset in basketball history be on the cards. 16th seed Coastal Carolina in the lead right now over 1 seed Virginia.

I'd say Dayton have torn through every bracket around! And what does 'Best Score' mean in the standings there?

Its the best score you can have based on your selections. You ge more points if you predict lower seeds to beat hight seeds in the tournament

Okay that makes sense. Safe to say I'm one of the more conservative ones so!

Wow. Stanford just about edge it by Kansas, looks like the next time we'll see Wiggins play will be in the NBA!

Unbelievible. This tournament is throwing up more questions than answers about the some top seeded teams. I had Kansas going to the final. Madness:eek:

Only reason I didn't have Kansas going to the final was because Florida stood in the way. I'm really starting to have faith in Kentucky overcoming Wichita State now.

the party is over for Witchita State. UK advance to the sweet 16.

For argument sake. Would any of you change your prediction for National champion at this point. Pre-Sweet 16?

Dayton winning this is bad for my bracket. Happy Wisconsin are up against Baylor but its early days right now

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,267 ✭✭✭Dublin Red Devil

That win for Wisconsin puts me on top of the leader board by just 1 point. Myself and Connor have the same picks Florida to beat UCLA and Arizona to beat SDS so it will stay that way for tonight

Tomorrow There are some real potential upset. I wouldn't rule out any of the lowers seeds winning their game's

    Fck Me.

    Final 4

    Florida v UCONN

    Wisconsin v UK

Great finish to the Kentucky game, unbelievable to see a team of mainly freshmen to make it to the final four.

UK's success could blow the draft in a new direction. The stock od Randle is rising and James Young is rising too. Also If the Harrisons win a national championship, their hardly going to go back to college when they are project lottery picks

Judging by the standings, it looks like if Florida win the National Championship Monday night I'll be atop of the standings :D

    Bump

Almost that time of the year again

Is it a simple case of re-activating the bracket league from last year?

Think DRD set it up last year and afaik he's been banished from these parts. Someone might need to set up a new one this year.

In related news, Kentucky have gone 31-0 for the regular season, incredible, but not surprising, they've an incredibly deep roster this year.

To add to that, none of their players have averaged more than 25 minutes per game. They're going to be extremely hard to beat although there's going to be incredibly high expectations of them.

I'm still game for this year. Haven't kept track of what's going on to much in CBB but I've a week to get up to speed! :D

Is it limited to one bracket per head? No hassle if so, just checking if I am missing something in the options somewhere.

All done, 13 in. Tie breaker might be crucial as there are a lot of Kentucky predictions.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 5,014 Mod ✭✭✭✭GoldFour4

    Yup, it's tough out there....
After 24 NCAA March Madness games played, just 24 perfect brackets remain in ESPN's Tournament Challenge, out of 11.57 million.
    That's 0.0002 percent.
