    I went to see Chubby when he was playing Vicar Street in 2008.

    I *knew* what he was like before I went. I enjoyed the show, but of course there were some jokes that were a bit too close to the bone for my liking.

    I think Chubby has a certain audience and if you like blue humour, you'll like him, but you cannot compare him to Michael McIntyre who's about as funny as a dose of chlamydia.

    All in all, I wouldn't go to see Chubby again..once is enough.

    It's pretty ironic that many of those sitting there cheering on and supporting Chubbs rant about asylum seekers coming to Britain claiming benefits probably have never worked a day in their lives.

    On the other hand, I guess you would have to say that he knows his target market.
