    Ey up lads...

Saw Howard Jones in Limerick a few years ago. Great show.

Did Jed and his mental chains make an appearance?

If he was a scary skinhead chap wearing a skirt, then possibly.

I do like a bit of Pet Shop Boys.

Neil used be Editor of Smash Hits. I think that would have been my favourite job in the World.

''So Nik, does it bother you that people keep mistaking you for Howard Jones?'' :pac:

Brilliant, i thought this was about Dire Straits (not that thay would've been bad).

2,000 posts! A landmark evening. Should be a good one, too.

When the Everlys did that reunion concert, the BBC showed a live clip on the Nine o'clock news.

That's how big a deal it was at the time.

Didn't Ray Davies play Dublin a while ago? Jesus, i really need to be more proactive about going to gigs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 78,722 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

Dave Davies could lay a claim to 'inventing' heavy metal, slashing his amp with a razor blade to get the 'fuzz' sound.

I think this is a ropey premise for a documentary ... these are all great bands who deserve airtime but there isn't much about how having two Brothers in the band made a difference.

Paul McCartney is a Music God who ruled the World and whose songs will live forever ... but his brother Mike was in Scaffold who sang Lily The Pink.

I'd call that a score draw.

Mat Osman is the bass player in Suede, one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the last twenty years who are credited as kickstarting an entire movement.

But what became of his brother, Richard? :D
