What is the nicest cocktail you have ever tasted, what was in it and how many did it take you to get drunk????????

Long Island Ice Tea. And not that many of them to get pissed usually a jug will do.

was drinking pretty heavily before i moved onto the cocktail bar, i have no idea how many it would take to get you drunk... they were damn tasty though, and i was plastered that night to say the least..

cocktail bars are just a recipe for disaster though

I made these all summer long in Bostron a few years back. Leathal cocktail as you can see from the recepit - 1/2 ounce Vodka - 1/2 ounce Gin - 1/2 ounce White Rum - 1/2 ounce - Cointreau - 1 ounce Lemon Juice - Top with Cola.

1 shot pineapple juice
2 shot malibu
2 shot jagermeister

Shake with ice and strain into 5 shot glasses

Jaffa Cakes are nice too... simply 'cos they taste like the biscuit (n'yom!)

(1 part Cointreau, 1 part Tia Maria, 2 parts Cola topped with an orange wedge OR ... Tia Maria & O.J. ... mix to taste)

I tend to steer clear of cocktails because drink is fantastically expensive nowadays anyway so I'm not mad about wasting money on mixers.

If I was pushed I'd go for a white russian.

I learned a Fat Frog as:

1 Vodka
1 Southern Comfort
1 Blue Curacao
1 Melon Liquer
Apple Juice

but I suppose from my time served as a barman, I noticed a few variations on cocktail recipes (and alcohol measures) depending on who was doing it

I was told blue aftershock and orange juice was a fat frog.
I don't really drink cocktails, but I had bud mixed with smirrinoff Ice awhile ago, and that was nice.

Look I don't know, I normally just drink beer till it becomes to heavy to lift and then I switch to whiskey. Normally JD and Pepsi Max (coca cola in pubs, natch)

Sometimes, if I'm feeling adventurous (ie stupid) I'll have an After Shock or five. Blue or red, if I'm drinking them I don't care. I went through a Smirnoff Ice phase cause it's got barley water in it, but I became suspicious that after I'd drank it I'd be even thirstier.

I've tried many other strange drinks in my drinking career, but I've always gone back to my true loves Heiniken and JD...

hmmm... a Heiniken and JD cocktail. It's so insane it just might work...

1 shot southie comfort
1 shot gin
1 shot malibu
mix with ice and OJ

Anybody know if there a name on this one or shall I name it myself:p

long island ice teas are the daddy, no contest.

grasshoppers are pretty tasty, as are black russians (i think thats what it's called... a few shots of god knows what & some coke, topped off with a guinness head)
