    Jaysus. Why do people think going to the cinema is a good idea for a date?? You meet up, go into a dark room and sit there for 2 hours without speaking. Then you both go home. Alone. Especially if its only your second date. How are you going to get to know her if you can't speak to her. Take her out for dinner next time, or if you can cook and aren't sh!te at it, invite her over to your place.

    I checked to see what's on this week.

    Do: Take her to see 'The Grand Budapest Hotel', it's light and funny and it will make you seem quirky and sophisticated.

    Don't: Take her to see '300: Rise of an Empire', you will look like a Neanderthal, and even if you're in good shape you'll still compare unfavorably to the mass of testosterone and beefcake on display.

    And if she picks The Book Thief, well, don't even bother turning up.

    Going to watch a film is the most useless and pointless thing to do when you only getting to know a girl. A whole lot of awkward can't talk and should I touch her bullshít going on.

    You need to get this chick drinking. Just a few. Not some mad session. Relaxes both parties and you actually talk. If you ain't talking when drinking she ain't gonna work out. Might get a parting fúck if lucky.

    It would normally be, but i know this girl very well as it is...I've known her for 5/6 months before our first date...

    Just said we'd do something last night, cause we've both been busy with work...

    Date went well, went for drinks post cinema and I certainly paid for it in work this morning :D
