Irish Women come fourth in world infidelity league table

Kind of shocked by this to be honest, as not the type to cheat myself and don't see the majority of friends considering it either. I have known some friends to cheat in relationships, but just nowhere near the amount that would justify the findings of this survey. I genuinely thought we would come in around 57th or something.

The survey the findings were based on, was conducted by the extra marital dating site, Victoria Milan. The UK came first, with 38%, Sweden second with 36%, which is more understandable given the talent on offer I suppose :) The USA were third, with 22% and France, at 20%, were 4th.

So, I'm skeptical, to say the least, as I don't think one country cheats more thab another one, but am I just being naive here? Are Irish women really as guilty of infidelity as this site's survey suggests?

A survey says I am the most considerate and satisfying lover of all time.

I don't have a link to it though.

Yay, another gender war thread (I don't mean you OP, but that's what it will turn into).

How did Irish women come fourth in the league if France came fourth in the survey?

Did we get extra points for playing away? :D

What I can never seem to understand is why so many people think one gender cheats more then another as if there's a few individuals cheating with thousands of members of the opposite sex to balance things out.

On International Women Day the whole country is concentrating on one man, BOD. Then you drop this bomb about Irish women. This is too much I need me sleeping pills!

If you correlate it to the Irish drinking stats and the decline in the influence of the catholic church not sure why you would be shocked.

Cheating is not gender specific. I comes down to the fact that you either leave someone you don't love anymore or you don't. You leave, you move on. You don't, you cheat and hurt your other half, and by extention your children if you have them, and your family.

A cheater will always have the potential to cheat, regardless of gender. Whether they choose to act on it again defines them as one or the other forever in my view.

Women are now just as likely as men to have an affair, be cheating bitches and wagons.

For all we know they were cheating more so fifty years ago, there's no reliable way to know what the cheating rates are.

Like most Irish heterosexual men I do not find Irish women attractive, interesting or sexy and have no interest in them so this issue does not concern me.

So I will leave the thread now.

Looks like the skill has gone out of trolling completely in recent times. Now I enjoy a good well thought out post that riles up the women good but this is dire stuff alltogether.

Anyone can create surveys or statistics. That famous Homer Simpson line to Kent Brockman comes to mind :p

But would Ireland be the genuine 4th position if you could some how accurately measure? ... Being honest, I wouldnt be suprised to hear if we were.
