I could watch Peter play and talk about Dark Souls all day! He plays a character called Pate in DS2 but I found out yesterday he also does all the grunts and noises from the male character

Really? jesus wouldn't have thought it was anywhere near as big as that. Have seen far more popular franchises go without midnight openings

Would definitely go to a midnight opening to pick it up, but wouldn't it be weird being that one guy there for Dark Souls

I have about 10 games i want to trade in for Dark Souls so i think ill leave it till Friday....9am sharp

I have a course I go to every 3 or so weeks, And next Friday is one of those days. I have course work to hand in and a bit of an exam. I usually do all this Thursday night. Shame cause I would have got in Thursday night if my local gamestop were opening.

I saw the list of starting items, some very interesting ones that you wouldn't have a clue what they do, think I'll pick one of them. I'm avoiding any vids about the tutorial, want to be completely surprised by that.

Life Ring: This ring of old slightly increases HP.
Human Effigy: A familiar looking effigy. Returns the hollowed to life.
Healing Wares: Various items used to cure poison and restore HP. Essential for anyone travelling Drangleic.
Homeward Bone: Returns you to the bonfire last rested at. Having one may ease your mind, but there are no easy journeys.
Seed of a Tree of Giants: A seed grown from a Tree of Giants. Inedible.
Bonfire Ascetic: Toss into a bonfire to raise the strength of nearby foes. Only for those who seek greater challenges.
Petrified Something: A simple petrified lump. It may be of some use, someday.

making a shortcut to a new area.
