Anybody know of Irish sites that sell canal or river boat cruisers that are in need of tlc? Looking for a restoration project. Thanks

Waterways Ireland sell some off every now and again http://www.waterwaysireland.org/Pages/News-Details.aspx?news-id=54 also keep an eye on http://www.adverts.ie/for-sale/cars-motorbikes-boats/boats-accessories/98/ and http://www.donedeal.ie/find/boats/for-sale/Ireland/ lots of them about at the moment.

Thanks for those links folks....A LOT of boats out there!

If I could ask another question: Trying to get an overview of how much inland boating would cost on average in a year and can't find an Irish estimation...would costs here be broadly in line with English waterways?

Many thanks again...total newbie with a lifelong urge!

It's all a bit up in the air at the moment with new laws on the way http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057126314 but overall it should not be much different to the UK may be even cheeper.
