Would you rather die in mundane/everyday circumstances, or doing something risky?

We're all gonna die. Or so they say. When your time comes, would you rather die from some everyday mundane occurrence like an illness or something you see in the news regularly? Or would you rather while taking a wild risk, like tightrope-walking across the Grand Canyon? Or whatever...

Yup, me too...but painlessly and with dignity. Edgy huh?

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather.

Not like his three screaming passengers.

I want to be hit by a plane and a train at the same time.

Same as that. In my own bed, thanks.

Personally, I'd prefer not to die at all.

As long as I don't take a heart attack and die on the toilet, I'm not fussy.

It's actually a tricky one. You'd like to say die doing something risky/exciting, but you don't want a fupping Darwin award either!

Maybe die doing something I love. Which means I'll probably choke on a bloody chicken fajita.

I refuse to die under anything short of setting off an international incident.

I want to be in a position that when I die, i will welcome and look forward to it, so if I'm 90 and dying of cancer i will say, yes now I want to die

I hate to think I will die before I really want to, I'm too nosy for that, I want to see what happens first

Either that or in a hot air balloon.

In clean, fresh clothes I have a fear one day I'll be found dead in
scruffy, dirty clothes not knowing what's around the corner.

Anyone else get a sudden chill when thinking about this?

One day it's all going to end for each and every one of us. And there's not a damn thing we can do about it.

Could be tomorrow, could be decades away...but it's coming. And this life that we love will be over.

Ah come on people are being boring.

Id love to go out in style (but in old age). I'm thinking like the ending to Gran Torino, except I wouldn't have just a lighter in my pocket!

Doesn't matter what you're wearing. You're going to piss and **** yourself when you die anyway.

    Yeah well.....sorry!

I think about 'The End' every now and then....not quite comfortable with the idea just yet.

But then I think about the millions of people that have come and gone before me, and the countless people that never even lived to be the age I am now.

I just don't want to KNOW i'm dying. Terminal illness...the doctor telling me I have X months...slowly deteriorating and having to come to terms with the fact....

    ..:(

You'll only do that if you haven't emptied your bowels but if you haven't and when you die your muscles relax then you'll be dead you won't know or care. :p

Stop obsessing about it, when it happens it happens.

My granny used to have a prayer that she used to recite every day; it was a prayer for a happy death.
My grandad used to say to her "to hell with happy, just make it quick".

I'm with my grandad on that one!

I did say 'every now and then'!

Hardly obsessive. Some git had to go and make a thread about it and another 'now' was created! ;)
