Looks like Namco Bandai are going all out marketing the game compared to its predecessors.

Namco Bandai has revealed pre-orders for Dark Souls II are 50 per cent up on its predecessor.

And this is before the publisher’s main ad campaign kicks in. The firm has put a massive £1m into marketing the game to a mainstream audience.

“We have everything going for Dark Souls II. The PR and community teams have been incredibly hard at work since the game was first revealed,” said Namco Bandai product manager Gary Chantler.

“They have been working like mad getting the game through the specialist and mainstream press channels.“

the black armour edition is on hmv and xtravisions website not but showing as out of stock, that's a good sign maybe some stores will get them

Now that amazon have promised me a black armour that won't arrive until the 18th realistically, my thoughts have turned to trying to sort out a stopgap for that weekend cos I don't think I can take not playing it for the bank holiday.

you not using parcel motel? you get free first class delivery, guaranteed delivery to the parcel motel depot by the 14th so you'll have it either Friday or Saturday

Its Paddy's weekend so go heavy on the drink then Dark souls will arrive amidst the hangover

Wow, suprised I qualify for first class. What's the threshold in UK?

For 3.50 fee to parcel motor it's now estimated to arrive on the Friday to NI. Do parcel motor operate on a Saturday?

When do they take the 3.50 from me?

if you have the credit card set up they take it from you whenever the game arrives at their depot up north. yea they deliver on saturday, my bet is that we will have it at latest friday night though, they deliver pretty late into the night to the depots around the country.

yeah i was up and out at 1am rushing to the parcel motel depot for my last package

was pretty dissapointed when i got there and it was just a sample pack of some new halls mints i'd signed up for

You can repsec in DSII. And if you really need a guide you'll find everything you need online after a fairly short period of time.

had my ps3 put away in the wardrobe after getting a ps4, but its been put back under the tv in wait for dark souls 2, ps4 is now put into wardrobe..

Changed to Parcel Motel there as well. Normally I'd be more than happy to wait until the following week to play a game (the rush for day one doesn't really concern me anymore) but sure you'd miss out on half the fun of a new Dark Souls if you had to wait a couple of days

Lads even with my ps4, I have only been playing dark souls on ps3 and I'm more looking forward to dark souls 2 than I am infamous. Then I would get southpark. Would be madness to get rid of ps3.
