What about women who curse a lot, is that a turn off for some guys? I am so bad, I have tried to stop cursing but it just isn't 'appening. :(

I've been told by numerous people i swear far too much, i don't even notice myself doing it to be honest so i couldn't fault anyone else for doing the same, man or woman!

This sounds weird but I like a woman that swears a lot :P A woman who swears, drinks pints of stout and gets into arguments with bouncers is a woman for me! I like a woman that is argumentative (although this often works to my disadvantage with my current gf haha), can stand up for themselves and is not afraid to voice their opinion and put people in their place. Other turn ons include piercings/tattoos, undercuts, sometimes dreadlocks (can look HIDEOUS on some women, great on others), Irish speaking, black hair or dark red hair, strong Irish/English/Scottish accent, doesnt wear make up, lovely arse (more important than tittays), enjoys getting wrecked, can have and pursues intellectual conversations, well-traveled! There are other turn ons but these are the main ones. I like "bad" girls ;)

Turn offs include high heels, make up, match stick skinny, drinks diet Coke in the morning along with a fag as their "diet breakfast", shy, has no love for adventure/traveling and drinks nothing but only Bulmers/vodka (I dont really give a fúck what you drink, but the Club K/Carbon girls who live off this really repulse me).

Apart from that Im pretty open minded!

    OH GOD NO!

Nothing is more of a turn off then a butch bird who is unpredictable and likely to kick off! I like it when a girl can voice her opinion definitely and who can also challenge me in an argument and put me in my place if im wrong but not they type who is going to do so at a raised decibel to the point where it's making a scene!

My mates girlfriend is exactly like this, usually only after having a few drinks though and as much as i love her it's horrible to see on a night out and usually results in her and my mate having a massive barney and him having to head off in a cab with her to avoid embarrassment! I like girls who are good banter but like ladies to be ladylike!

That's the worst thing about it. I even say the dreaded 'cnut' word and I forget it is taken much more offensively in Dublin compared to down the country. I have been pulled up on my language a few times in work and more recently last night in badminton. It's actually a bit embarrassing. :o >.<

They just got used to me in work, thankfully my manager is just as bad as me but the ladies certainly don't like me using the 'cnut' word so I have tried not to use it.

I just can't help it, does be out before I even think about, especially when I'm angry or annoyed over things. People tend to point it out to me when they first meet me but then just end up giving up and accepting it......:P

What am I gonna do if I ever have kids?

I love the c word, it's just the way it rolls off your tongue, stops people dead in their tracks :)
Ps, in badminton, do you call it a shuttlecnut?

Well Im not attracted to "butch" women. I dont like girls who are muscly and have short hair and have pitbulls. I like women who are feminine yet who are also rowdy and "tough". I guess myself being slightly effeminate (or so Ive been told) being attracted to women who are slightly masculine makes sense. My current girlfriend is definitely manlier than me :D It works though, it would be imbalanced otherwise!

Rowdy would be a definite turn off for me.

Saying that I do love a pint of Guinness and I can stand right up for myself but I can do it without shouting or causing attention to be drawn.

To me "rowdy" is a synonym for "asshole". Definitely not a turn on.

Guess you have enough rowdiness on here as it is!

I fucking hate it when women curse all the time. Makes them sound shit for fuck sake. ;)

You would hate South Australia, nothing but caaant this and caaant that and she's a facking caaant...

No, I call it a shuttlecock. :P Maybe if I started saying 'cock' for every missed shot and then when I get pulled up on it, I can just say I was saying 'shuttlecock'. Or even if I just start saying shuttlecock.

Ugh shuttlecock, I missed it. :P Ugh, you absolute shuttlecock, why didn't you get that?

I actually think it could work. :P Haha

I've been, and I don't mind it really. I was just being puckish.

    turn off: drama queens/kings

When I was younger and went out with a few 'rowdy' guys, it was horrendous. Having to leave the pub early because they'd cause a scene or fight, one tries to punch my friend because he gave me a big hug and picked me up off the floor, constantly being rude to other people there...

Ugh, give me a nice, well mannered but assertive guy over a rowdy one all the way.

    Only in churches....

I guess "assertive" is a better word. I wouldnt fancy someone who actively went looking for fights! I just admire women who stand up for themselves and dont take shít from others. Ive gone out with way too many timid, shy, pushover women who were just a bit of a bore to be around.

No, it means nothing to say it down the country. As in you meet someone in Longford and say 'How are ya, ya cnut ya, I haven't seen you in ages?'.

If I said that in Dublin, I'd get daggers. That's what I've started to realise anyway. You don't be going round saying that word.

I disagree. I use it all the time, and only know one person who has any sort of problem with it.

Same for me with guys. i don't like rowdy, but I do like a man who can stand up for myself. My best friend is a big pushover and my whole family were convinced we would end up married.

I don't think so. Not spending my life fighting his battles. :P

I find it cute when a woman does a girly burp.
    Is that wrong?

    A bottom burp? Yes

Arguing with a bouncer is a turn-on? I've heard about odd kinks before, but that's a new one. Women who read science fiction, though...they're definitely of interest.

Well, it's just something I noticed. It's more so women than men who take serious offence to it. That's just in my experience anyway. :P

I don't have any stats to back it up, so it is a generalisation. :P

That's me out of the running, I could give Homer Simpson a run for his money. :(

What kind of volume are we talking about, like a warthog belching into a galvanised bucket?

    NO THEY DON'T!

They do, sometimes they're even big smelly ones. :P Haha.

I dunno what parts of Dublin you've been in!

Turn offs : “I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.” any girl who says that or has that as a Facebook status

I have to say I don't particularly like the c word. I have found myself using it but only when I get very angry and I don't think it's appropiate to use in a work setting at all. Other swear words don't bother me as much but I know if someone came out with the C word in my work, they'd probably get a talking to.

Big turn off: Agressive types, controlling types, jealous types.

Turn on: Confident & assertive men
