Ah no why would you do that to a lovely vectra, what you want is a steaming vat of hydrochloric acid, followed by a good dose of lime, and to top it all off, drop it into a steel mill furnace pit :pac: A fitting send off?

Seen as ye guys were able to identify the last wheels I was looking at pretty much instantly, does anyone know if these are a knock off of a real wheel design (they caught my eye in GTA V a while back. They're called "bippu" wheels (incase thats a knock off of a real alloy name or such).

Also, probably just now that I know where to generally find them, I seen my first 'monzas' on a Golf today. They were nice but a very, very matte finish to them? No real shine or gloss off them at all? Is that normal? They were nice but a bit dull I thought (and the particular ones I seen were also curbed to death).

Happened herselfs Opel a few weeks ago. I couldn't jump start it so we had to call a tow truck. Immobiliser locks it down needing a reset. I'm sure there's a point to that...but I don't think it's in the end users favour...

Is there not a shortcut to reset it that doesn't require a diagnostics computer?

Is it just me or is the boards touch site not working? Every time I try to load it on my phone I'm just redirected to the full site:confused:

Using the full site on a phone is like driving with a totally blacked out windscreen accept the area of a playing card :p

Got pulled by the fuzz for driving in a bus corridor this evening. Managed to blag my way out of it by turning on my best midlands accent and claiming no knowledge of the city whatsoever, also helps having an OY reg and a car covered in muck hehe.

I honestly thought it was out of hours but still, no fine.

Just spotted one of the Uncles old buses on DD. Gone from us since 2003, but the green and red stickers/wrap stayed! :pac:

Speaking of the cops, I had a rather strange incident with them the other day, at my local filling station and this traffic corps car pulls up at the pump behind me, a minute or two passes and then i hear this thick tipp accent (it's not mm :pac:) saying " you're a bit young to be owning something like that aren't you? says this guard, so i causally say back, well i have it taxed nct'd and insured so I don't see why not, bit of conversation starts, grand!

Now heres what shocked me, in teh motoring communitay, some people refer to the cars by their engine codes, N47 B5 passats ae111 and so on, this cop then turns to me and goes, "is that a B235E under there?" I nearly dropped and just about managd to ask how the fcuk he knew this, to which he replies, Ah sure I know a thing or two ;) and casually walks away :pac:

ANPR at work right there apparently :P

Never got them. Even when I ordered an exhaust off them :/

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 369 ✭✭SleeperService

My first time (maybe second?). Wiggle cycling website in the uk was said to send them too, maybe got them once ever from them.

You didn't notice a weird sugar plus plastic smell off the exhaust for few days by any chance? lol

Still they could have duct taped a haribo to them :pac:

Not that I think of it, I may have the first time I ordered off them. Or I'm confusing them with chainreaction cycles. But it's a long time since I first ordered off both of them.
