How much would you guys expect an indy to change handbrake shoes on my e46? I'm half thinking of doing it myself, but then I might save myself the hassle if it doesn't break the bank.

Just seen some pics of the new face lifted focus on fords fb page. I'm not that mad about the front of it and the rest is similar enough inside slightly different.

They're still using the Aston Martin-esque grille. Not mad on it.

Why in the hell are ford basically using the same aston type grille on most of their range

Yeah they are, had the discs off in the last 6 months and they were close to finished. Not really holding the car any more, even tightened all the way.

The discs needing replacing too? I've never done a 3 series, but changing discs/pads is usually a straightforward job.

The disks pads were changed in the last 6 months by myself. Was silly enough not to do the shoes at the same time!

I am the only one who thinks Fords version of this grille reminds me of the 407?

Because they own a 10% stake in Aston Martin as far as I know and IMO they're trying to inject a bit of AM's prestige into the range.

It kind of just cheapens Astons Martines image, I have heard lots of people say oh I thought I saw an Aston in my rear view mirror, but was only a Ford, next time they see an Aston they will think, "oh, another bloody Ford...".

    Lower it, it'll look class.

I'm open to adjusting the height of it, but if I ever did do that, it's only going one way, and it most certainly ain't being lowered! :P

I wouldn't mind actually as I've a spare phone onboard, but I'm going to Poland TODAY!

If you can make it to my house before 2PM, I can get NAVIGON on an iPhone 3G that I have ;)

Get Navfree for your phone, you download the maps (for free) so no internet connection required.

I was in the Gas monkey bar and grill this evening. It's in a crappy part of town, it's a bit dingy, my server was a crack head, grub was good though:D
