Grand Slam bet gone... **** it.

Whew, I had taken Ireland on the +5 'cap right after the Wales win. I hope too many weren't burned on the handicap draw.

I can still turn in a small profit or at least break even if the remaining Rabo/Top14 bets work out.

Odds I saw on PP for the 6N outright:

    England 7/5
    Ireland 8/5
    Wales 11/2
    France 6/1

10% up on the night but France's failure to score more than 8.5 in the 1st half cost me dearly. :(

    Further cautious bets for tomorrow.

Zebo to score a try against Ospreys today is at 21/10 with PP, could be worth a punt!

Ospreys have conceded 17 tries in 14 matches so they are pretty solid defensively.

    Devin_Toner-390x285.jpg

Tallest player in the Heineken Cup - 6'11" - should be illegal!

Anyway, every dog has his day and Devin Toner will get a try sooner or later - he's always hanging about on the fringes of things. I used to back him and I might give him a lash again on Saturday.

Note: On checking Wiki, I see that he has 140 Leinster caps and three tries and 12 Irish caps and no tries - on that strike rate he needs to reach 45+ Irish caps before he crosses the whitewash. Still past performance is no guarantee of future.....:D

The way i see it the likes of sexton, poc, Henry are much more likely to be subbed so big dev could play the full eighty.

I go by value, I see better value in Henry and darcy as first try scorers.. . Italy concede more through the back line and Henry is not adverse to popping up at the back of a maul ;)

And yeah the big dev bet is just cos I'd love to see the guy get one. He deserves it :)

For the day that's in it I'll be backing BOD for 1,2 & 3 tries and MOTM. Surely they can't give it to anyone else!:)

For my head over heart bets I've an accum of Ire -22, Eng -5 and Scot +8. Also England to win by 10 or more, think they will win comfortably on Sunday.

Ireland - 12 second half handicap looks a great bet, my figures say so anyway and I'd advise people to get on.

That's a great shout, with Italy minus a few of their big names I can see it getting loose towards the last 20 mins and Ireland cutting free (if they haven't already) and really tryign to rack up the points difference.
