Joining Brendan tonight (accirding to RTE website)

Actual famous person John Hurt! I know! He was in Alien, and lots if other things. He isn't the fella who was Gandalf, though.

Former rich man and giver of unwelcome advice to the unemployed Bill Cullen and his missus are on. He was once the star of an odd television programme in which he fired people one after despite the fact that he hadn't actually hired any of them. Doesn't make any sense, does it?

Former Eurovision "star" Joeseph McCaul is on. Was he one of that brother and sister act that time?

Aimee Richardson is also on. Don't ask me.

And Damien Dempsey is on, presumably to do some of his Dubilin Town songs.

Be here from 9.35 to find out what social topic du jour dominates the thread this week!

He was on with Mooney a while back.. Said that he's suffered from anxiety and has been seeing a psychiatrist for the last eight years... Joe McCaul said he was seeing a psychiatrist as well.. :pac:

Bingo. Illness gets you RTE attention in prime time and the masses love hearing about other people's misery.

2003: Mickie Joe Harte: We've got the world tonight tonight
2004: Chris Doran: If my world stopped turning in the morning
    2005: Donna and Joe: Love
    2010-2014: Nidge and Fran: Love/Hate

Ok, I couldn't resist the last one ... the rest are Eurovision entries from You're a Star TV show and Donna and Joe are the McCalls and it is he who is on.

OMG not bloomin' Bill Cullen again! Why do we have to get his unwanted advise every year?????? No doubt, this millionaire will go on about how much he lost, being depressed, etc. (being poor for him is losing his LIMITED company while having 1 million in private cash in his private bank account that cannot be touched). Then, he will tell us all we should work for nothing!

John Hurt's 'Who Do You Think You Are?' was very sad

He thought he was Irish. He found out he wasn't. He was very disappointed.

Someone should have forged an Irish Identity for him, he would have been much happier

I remember watching that and he really was so disappointed. Here's hoping he is not as p1ssed as he was the night he was on the LLS with Gaybo
