    He looks a lot different now to some of his roles. He's probably known best here for his role in The Field.

    all u need to do is look at his eyes to see if he has had a few and it looks to me like he is completly sober....unless he has snorted a line just before he came on

    Who else remembers John Hurt's voice from the storyteller? I really enjoyed those as a kid. His voice was like magic.

    I loved John as the Bull McCabe's sidekick in The Field - a favourite film of mine.....
