Sorry but that sounds contradictory. Since the last episode was pretty strong, you'd expect the fans to be invested in the next episode.

Happened to me with Breaking Bad at the start of series 5. Simply forgot about it being back on 'til I stumbled across it a couple of weeks into it's run, and that was after being way into it by the end of S4.

On the issue of Michonne's pet walkers - why are they so docile? She has removed their arms and jaws so they can't attack/bite her, but why aren't they still trying? If the show has taught us anything, it's that the walkers are single minded in their focus on biting humans, even when it's just a severed head. Seems weird to see the two lads just strolling along behind her.
what Milton said in S3E3...take their ability to eat away and they loose interest

Then they have him sitting on the roof ignoring the walker behind him at the end of it all? It's like he learnt nothing. He has gone from fake cocky bravado to incompetent to foolishly ignoring danger in one episode. Such a messy arc.
    Walker posed no threat?

Yes, but not immediately as portrayed in this episode.

and the corflakes looked fresh even after a few yrs.

I moved in with a friend and there was a pack of cornflakes in a cupboard. 3 years later and when I moved out I had to check the cornflakes.

They looked as if they were just opened. They even had the same crack of new cornflakes when squeezed. Scary really.

I find with the Walking Dead I suspend reality a bit (or a lot) and just go with it an enjoy it, I wouldn't enjoy any show/movie if I scrutinized it too much. There was a link on one of the other threads and some guy went through the show bit by bit to find holes etc. I stopped after a few minutes as sure where is fun then.

I think on the moral side of 'what would you do' in such a situation is handled so well (Carol teaching the kids to fight, would you kill another human to protect you and yours). Myself and the hubby always have lots of chats when those situations arise saying what would we do.

Anyhoo I've had too much coffee this morning, I love the show! With all the meme and funny videos anytime Rick says Carl now I just crack up laughing. Carrrrrrlllllllllll!

As one fansite had, 'Happy Valentines Boardsies, hope your dead heart is beating for someone'

Carl walking backwards with two walkers and something goes wrong. Anyone else and their dog see that one coming? What is the point of that scene?

Well I mean every single episode of this show has the same basic format, should you be surprised ?

    ???

It's Michonne. We're clearly shown her looking in the window, seeing Rick and Carl and beaming.

How close was that neighbourhood to the prison?

    Never spotted before?

There's probably loads of neighbourhoods like that in the greater Atlanta region.

    True
They are not that far into the countryside and are still on the boudnaries of Atalanta City metro area
They left Atlanta City to the south west on I-85 and did not get very far
All The locations are close to the Main highway (Interstate 85 )
The farm, Prison and wood bury
Wood bury is mentioned as being 50 miles from Atlanta
The Atlanta city metropolitan area has 5.5 million people in it and Georgia has 10 million people,
Population density of Georgia, that big REddish spot in North is the Atalanta city metropolitan area
They are just to the south west of that in and around Coweta county

The Herd was spotted near the veterinary college, 50 miles from prison and there was no indication it was heading to the prison most of it was going in opposite direction when they drove into back of it, that was day 502 its now day 506 on Ricks timeline.
Not sure how much ground a herd can cover in a day even if it started moving that way.

I enjoyed this episode. I found the scence with Hershels head really moving, why did they kill him off? He was one of my favourite characters. I liked Carl in this episode, I find him kinda bratty but I think he grew up in this episode, he is actually a pretty decent actor. I wasn't fussed on Michonne when she first appeared but she has really grown on me, I liked her back story this week and her relief when she found Carl and Rich was evident, she has developped a really close bond with Carl to replace her own child.

I thought Rick had turned at one stage but I was thinking there is no way there would kill of their lead character but that hasn't stopped this show before.

The whole episode was about Carl basically transitioning from the shielded, whining, "child with gun" into someone with an actual appreciation for the world he is now in. Rick has always protected him or saved him and Carl has gotten cocky/reckless.

The one where he lost his shoe demonstrated that well.

The slapstick "woopsy daisy, I dun fell on tha flur" bit that you could see coming the second he got their attention was seriously ****e.

Mother****ers need to discover spears btw...
Not like they're lacking for wood.
Or bits of steel rebar or whatever.

I hadn't forgot about the return of TWD, forgot about the sub forum.
I thought Carl was OK, he's not the greatest actor but his lack of expression helps in this, he keeping things bottled up and struggling with it. I loved the bit where he says 'cool' seeing the empty street. (and if we must pick holes, who's cutting the grass?) Carl has learned from his day alone not that he can survive without people but that he needs them for more than just survival.
We see the same with Michone, she thought she could go on alone but realizes that she needs live people, not just a couple of walkers for companions.
I'm expecting to see the other groups and stragglers learn other stuff about what they need or want before they meet up.
BTW didn't they have a pre arranged rendezvous to get too? have they forgotten about that.

There's a lot of things that are easier to draw than to do.

Hard to make all the houses have the requisite amounts of damp, dust, mould, etc..

Just caught up with the last 2, & gotta be honest as it almost scared the life outta me, betcha Carl won't be as cocky anymore with them near run-ins with the walkers.
