Alright, no need to take the hump. Also, have a look around, old bean. This is AH, remember. And your "they paid dem orf" comments sound like somthing out of the CT forum. You should pop over there for a discussion if you want to deal in fantasy and innuendo. They love that crap. I can link it's location if you need.

Watch the documentary. Plenty of evidence.

But if you want a AH answer, I guess because no-one in CL is an Ashkenazi Jew, they can be trusted. ;)

One was a trainee Priest who quit, if that's any help? And if you follow the money trail, smart-boy, you'll find that you are actually wrong. Fingers in every pie old son. Every pie.

I have no idea what you are on about now.

Off to read up on the days proceedings in the Anglo trials. Was Joe giving evidence or facing charges, hard to tell these days.

I know. Yet you assuredly continue to spout guff. You need to open your eyes Mad, maybe, just maybe, you don't actually know it all.

And off he goes. Content to have vented his outrage and put the world to rights. Yet again. Yawn.

Ah, yes, the mysterious "I know something you don't know" the great tease in playgrounds everywhere. What a crock.

Either shite or get off the pot I have no time for your nonsense, hopefully you will feel like a great patriot as you are swinging your pick into the fabric of Irish history.

You really don't get much, do you? You planning on educating me? Good luck with that. Perhaps it is you who could need a bit of educating, or reality? You think your dopey documentary is news to me? It's just one perspective. It depends on which side of the tent you are sitting.

...and we'll leave it there for now. Seeing as you ran out of actual arguments some time ago.

Shame you don't just leave it there too. Not too good when you are convinced of something and others don't concur, eh?

I offered you the facts as supported by the TG4 documentary, if you choose to simply make personal remarks and digs instead that's up to you and the mods.

Like I said, come back to me when you want an actual discussion.

Such as? You've lost me there. You publicly libelled someone I happen to know well. You insinuated he paid politicians to avail of favours. I thought I was being nice. I thought you well overstepped the mark, tbh.

Libel? Where did I do that? Please quote my libel - that is quite a serious allegation.

You mouth off on the internet, having created jack-sh1t zero in your life apart from red-tape and money for your own pocket.

Pretty personal dig there I would say, no?

"brown envelopes"?? What were you implying? Did I "take you up wrong"?? Which you are, btw. Off by a mile.

You just accused me of libel. What was libellous?

    Come on.

No, that's just telling it like it is. Share your achievements and I will take it back unreservedly.

You strongly implied that envelopes had been exchanged in return for favorable treatment. What would you call that? A compliment? Have you proof of this? Who received the envelopes? What did they do in return? You drop insinuations, then cry foul when I call a spade a spade. You insinuated corruption, so go on, who got the money and what did they do? I'm all ears. Personally, I reckon you're just blowing off in a populist manner, as per usual.

Oh, look another rabbit-hole you want to take this down. i have been both employee and employer in Ireland, but frankly none of your business, what I haven't done is prop up a bank by buying their shares with money loaned to me, and left the state with a €3bn debt.

I said paperwork was a rough old business, opening envelopes and the like. Very rough.

What did you mean when you said something about devil take the hindmost?

Why was CL the only developer promised the Carlton site as you are such an insider. Do tell.

Construction is a fraught business Madsl, it always was. If you are a subbie, you get burnt when plans don't come to fruition. I get burnt, everyone does. I got burnt for 30k on one job alone last year and that's just the way it is. If you don't have air-tight payment terms, rapid invoicing and cash up front, you get burnt. If you do not have the operating capital and get to the point of being desperate, you get bust and burnt. So, the devil takes the hindmost. All contractors operate the same way.

If you plan on building somthing big, you need to be prepared to step on a lot of toes. It's the nature of the business. And if some people require "persuading" through payment, that's par for the course. If you won't sell the plot of land I need atr market price, what do I do? Skulk off? Or offer more? Or engage all the pressure I can muster?

Because they bought every fcuking thing else. As it happens. Who else was it of use to? FFs? Any idea how long they were assembling that land-bank??

They bought everything else by showing an agreement to the property owners that was signed by DCC that basically said we are getting the properties or we will CPO them.

None of the councillors were aware of such an agreement nor was ANY of that put to public tender.

The whole affair stinks to high heaven.

We are done here, because I will never agree that those payments are 'par for the course'.

In the case of this site this has not served the nation, at all. Shameful.

Which Nation? The one you're in or the one you keep viewing through your prism?

One of the bosses of Chartered Land is a long standing mate of mine, a dreadfully decent man who lives in a small house and has a modest lifestyle. Always did. And he has created work for thousands over the years as well as paying millions in tax. How much does Dundrum generate?? Or the Grand canal theatre?? Or the Pavillions?? And they're paying back their loans. They've worked with Nama from day one to service their debts. You mouth off on the internet, having created jack-sh1t zero in your life apart from red-tape and money for your own pocket.

he should be in a small cell, not a small house
