I'd be pretty pissed off if I was living near croke park.
The way they are been treated is shocking by yer man peter Mc Kenna.
Imagine all the people coming up pissing in yer garden throwing rubbish everywhere all that hideous noise(country music)
3 days would suck, any more than 3 is a major pain in the arse for people that live there.

Over in magicmum.com, there was a thread in 2009 about u2 and one of the residents was giving out saying that she was inside and she heard someone take a piss outside. How those residents have any creditibilty is beyond me.

Maybe there was a gang of them all havin a laugh in her garden, and perhaps there was a manky smell of piss in her front garden when she came out.

Terraced houses, most front doors lead straight into the living room, Some manky pissed up ****er taking a piss outside your front door would easily be heard.

One single person said one quite possibly accurate thing 5 years ago and somehow this affects the credibility of all the residents now?

Edit: You're the one who actually believes a singer when they say "<Insert current cityname here> fans are the best in the world WOOOOO!" aren't you?

    LOL

Where is there 70,000 foreign hillbillies that would be willing to travel to Dublin for a gig?

The north, that's where. They will arrive in coaches and leave in coaches as soon as the gig is over. Anyone that thinks there are 70,000 people flying to the island for this need their head examined.

I was thinking the same thing. If you were purchasing tickets from northern Ireland you would be using ticketmaster.co.uk. That would mean you would be classed as a purchaser from abroad?

That 70k figure can be significantly reduced if you take out sales from NI.

I doubt he will moan or cry about the situation . He will just pick a new place for his comeback and have it there . Once he makes his millions I can't see him complaining too much at all .

Are you serious going to argue this point for a person who sold over 400,000 tickets in a few hours?

Ireland seems to be a special case here. A country singer would never sell that many tickets anywhere else in the world outside the hillbilly states in the US.
It's almost like Ireland is caught in a time warp where everyone has gone back 20 years.
I think that's why Garth is focussing in Ireland, because he needs the money.
128 million album sales in the US alone....and you use the word "was"

When were the majority of those 128 million albums sold? 20 years ago?

From the other Garthie thread
I think I said it a few pages back that we should protest.

5 months camping outside croke park vs 5 nights of concerts.

    Which one would they like?

Now if you are willing to protest for 5 months outside croke park for a concert to go ahead you must lead a very sad life !

Concerts go on till 11:00 PM and the streets a in the area are not clear until 01:00 AM
and? they could easily be over by 8 with the streets cleared by 10, depending on what restrictions the council put on the events licence

maybe he has read the thread and decided to play on the delusians of the residents by agreeing their was an agreement when their wasn't, and then to wind them up said the GAA wouldn't honour it, thats what happened i'd say, i don't believe such an agreement exists and nothing will convince me of it

He was 6th in CD Album sales in the US in 2013, his stuff isn't available for download so its unfair to compare to overall sales but he would be inside the top 20 without downloads which in itself is impressive.

Weldy old chap... Why would we put it out there it's our trump card... Save it for the court room where it will have most impact... As for seeing the contract I have it right here in front if me... And our solicitor has it and so do a few others.

Now of it dosent exist why haven't Croke Park challenged us to produce it??? I'll tell you why little boy it's because they are sh1tless that it gets public cos then they are Fcuk'ed...!!! Bye bye Brooksy!!!

Your arguement makes zero sense. If its printed in a national paper will it not stand up in court??

But if it gets made public they're screwed, so you aren't making it public? Are you waiting for a payoff?? Thats what it looks like.
