It looks more promising than the previous episode anyway, it seems to be following at least three separate groups, which will hopefully give us a bit more character development, not to mention a little more action! :) Also, Daryl being back in the next episode can only be a good thing :D

Wow that episode had so much to talk about!
I knew the show wouldn't have the balls to kill off Judith, disappointing but unsurprising really
Also Carols reappearance and Tyreese not knowing her involvement in the burnings is I'm looking forward to coming to a head

One thing I'm surprised at is
how the show made Daryl (The fans favourite character) seem like an ass in how he didn't comfort Beth when she had her little breakdown. It's almost (I could be way off the mark here) like they're trying to make him less heroic/badass so in the future if he was killed off there wouldn't be this big fan outcry. But then again he might just be a tad disconnected because of missing Carol.

    Overall decent episode 7/10

I gave the episode an 8.

    Bad points:
    • Judith Still Being Alive-Have some fcuking balls and write her off
    • It being glaringly obvious that Glenn was perfectly fine even before they opened the bus up. Only person that gave a sh1t was the black guy who fancies Sasha. Hate how "acquantincanes" deaths are just shrugged off by the characters. "Oh, not part of the plot like I am? Then I don't give a fcuk"

    Good points
    • Some actual suspense. When Lizzie was suffocating Judith to shut her up, when Mika and Lizzie were faced with the walkers, thinking that it was Mika and Lizzie who had been eaten by the walkers
    • Abraham and the crew, great in the comics and can only be great here.
    • The way the all appear in the same spot(s) eventually
    • Daryl seeming like a dick (as Meryl was) but you can still see the human side to him. Good writing for his character and good acting

A bit of a filler episode, but interspersed with some good action and focusing on each remaining survivors life after the prison is good. Also, can't wait for the
Carol, Rick, Tyresse and the fire situation
    to really unfold!

I gave it a three as I thought it was poor and looked to be nothing more than a filler episode. The crew that arrive at the last minute look to be a good addition, the actor who plays the lead guy was brilliant in Southland so that is something to look forward to for next week.

Gave it a 6, not much improvement over last weeks episode. No real chemistry between Beth and Daryl

Usual mix of the sublime and idiotic, but pretty decent episode overall.

I quite like the multiple plot lines rather than its usual linearity. The longer it stays like this the better. Focusing purely on Carl in the last episode was a huge mistake. They could have easily intertwined this episode with the last and I would have had better pacing.

That scene that when Maggie gets on the bus was silly.... why do they specifically shoot it to confuse the audience. They want you to believe it could be Glenn, hiding his face. You are staring at Maggie wondering why she is crying/laughing. Then you see Glenn right after. I really don't understand what they were thinking or what they want the audience to feel. Bizarre.

Did anyone recognize the people on the bus? I didn't.

Tepid enough and fairly disjointed, but that's somewhat understandable given the clear intention was for us to catch up with all the characters who survived. And looks like the last of the Woodbury survivors got bumped off; convenient we never really got to know them and it just hammers home how they were nothing but cannon fodder.

Looks like there's now a general destination for all these separate stories too, and I'm going to make a wild guess here; whatever
Terminus is, I suspect it may not be the sanctuary it claims to be. In fact the first thing I thought of was 28 Days Later, and how 'sanctuary' in that case was a bunch of psycho, rapey soldiers.

    I'm actually happy
Judith survived. It shouldn't be a question of having 'balls', this show is already so relentlessly grim and pessimistic as it is, killing off a baby would have been just too much for me, adding nothing except some cheap shock value. The fact they pushed this idea with Lizzy clearly trying to suffocate the kid was bad enough

Whatever happens, I hope the rest of the season isn't set in the bloody forest; I'm sick to death with looking at trees all the time, stealth zombies pouncing from the bushes. It's such a dull, dull setting by now.

A decent enough episode in that it teased out what happened to the remaining survivors and their related trials, plus the kid trying to suffocate Judith was quite dark even for this show. What's less entertaining though is the complete absence of tension when Maggie was scouring the bus for Glen, or anytime Beth was attacked by a walker. At this stage its pretty obvious that the core of Rick, Daryl, Glen and Maggie, Tyreese, Sasha, Michonne and Carol will live so any scenes involving them against walkers are just tiresome because you know they arent going to die.

On that note, how was it that a big tough walker couldnt take down a weakly 12 year old boy (Carl) last week despite going for his shoes on 3 occasions, homing in on him as he exposed his neck and arms and then struggled to chase him out of the room, and yet a normal walker took down a grown man in 2 seconds flat tonight near the train tracks

This show needs a shock death before it gets really stale and in danger of just limping along with no definitive ending, just to keep viewers on their toes. I nominate Beth what a pain in the a$$ moaner she is. This new place Terminus could be interesting but I really hope they dont just drag out everyones eventual finding of it between now and the finale plus this new gang to me are just the new Woodbury and co, which just adds to the repetitive element of this series. Cmon people buck up your ideas and either do something original or head towards the ending, its getting a bit limp at this stage...

18 people left alive out of all the woodbury, prison, Brain Heriot new army and stragglers they have picked up , plus any that went they own way
that most be least 80-90% of all humans introduced dead.
    shows a slaughter house.

And how many of all those killed had names? It's a fair point that there's a core group and beyond maybe 1/2 shock deaths during the season, most are safe. Heck, the way the zombies pause and stall when any of the main cast are in the undead's grasp is hilarious. Yet if it's Mr. AN Other, they can't wait to dig in...

Sure, there's a long list of nameless extras bumped off, but so what? It's just the 2014 equivalent of the Red Shirt; oh sure, you think you're showing the audience how dangerous this world is with the endless death, but it's a hollow demonstration with almost zero dramatic or emotional payoff.

I'm majorly disappointed with the Lizzie & Judith scene. I was delighted to see Judith 'made' it but the suffocating scene went on long enuf to cause brain damage IRL. Never before on tv has anyone shown anything so sinister with a baby as far as I'm aware. Nay impressed.

Suffocating a crying baby to avoid enemies has been done a few times in movies don't know about TV, I cannot thing an example off top of my head but its been done

Decent episode had a nice pace to it. Glad they are starting the next arc with Terminus, though id say next week we'll be back with Rick and Michonne so wont get to see what it is yet.

No wonder Beth had 6 lines in season 2 and 3. Not a great actress at all. Great performance from Maggie on the other hand.

What was Daryl doing lighting fires out in the open at night though, picking up bad habits from the governor :)

    Final episode of MASH.

Yeah that's exactly what the Lizzie-Judith scene reminded me of.

Have to say, I didn't really like this episode. The only thing I got out of this week was that I have little interest in any of the other characters in this show. Found myself checking the time bar as it played through a couple of times. I felt like a lot of the meet ups / tracking finds were far too forced. I guess it's understandable though. I'm sure the writers just wanted to get all of these individual stories rolling so we're not going back to prison over and over again.

Not too sure about the three new characters either. Far too comical for me... the red neck marine and his gum chewing, hoop earring wearing side kick.

I guess I'll just have to wait until next week to see where it goes.

Maybe it's just been a while, but has Maggoe's accent always been so strong?

And yeah, Lizzie is crazy. Thought she was killing the rabbit for dinner but was just because she could.
