    % wise the amount that will finally get through to interview and beyond is quiet small. I think people have to take into account the large amout of applications plus the standard of those at the top is probably very high.

    I wouldnt be too disheartened by it, there is always next time!!

    Batch 2 or 3 you may forget about it.

    batch 1 has more than enough ppl for the next 3 years

    I passed placed in band 3. if a number in batch one fail the stage 2 exam.they then call upon batch two. it will be highly unlikely they'll get to batch 3. whats anyone's take on this?

    But Batch one contains the top 5k. why would you skip past them for a lower batch?

    Unless there is only 300 that are good during the interview stage they wont go to the next batch

    That's a bit harsh for those in band 2 & 3 including me!

    You have to remember theres still 2 more appitude tests so that might rule out have of them if not more

    Then the rest interview, med, fitness

    So they will have to delve into 2 & 3

    Guys, they are creating batches 2 and 3 for a reason. Ie to eventually make their way to them.

    Don't lose faith, don't forget they are going to be putting panels in place for future recruitment. It's not all just for the 1st intake.

    You have passed stage 1 and that's something to be happy about

    Just calling a spade a spade lads

    i havnt been ranked yet but if im not in batch 1 - theres no chance of getting in in the next 4 years. Be realistic!!

    Such a ruthless way of doing a recruitment process, 25,000 down to 5000 in a moment. I haven't got my results yet but if I'm not in batch one I'll be forgetting about it. Gonna be a lot disappointed people tonight in this country

    Yes it's quite a wait with a good few posters having gotten their result already. Fingers crossed for all who haven't found out yet. I can't even log onto public jobs website. Just waiting for the email......c'mon!
