Weird weather! The sky was dumping snow down on us in Swords for 3/4 minutes and then suddenly blue skies.

Didn't last long in Dublin 4, 10 minutes maybe. Did someone say there was more to come? Very bright all of a sudden.

Should be another shower for Dublin in about an hour (if it doesn't die out)

  • Registered Users Posts: 170 ✭✭Faustino

Looks like the next shower could be a bit bigger potentially for Dublin, headed right this way.

Oooh, there is a Met Eireann station right near there too!

Probably caused by showers lifting over the Slieve Blooms.

Snowing heavy again here, 42mph gust to boot too!

Finally, some light snow blowing about, better than a kick in the nuts i suppose.

End of another big lashing of snow in Rathfarnham.

Heavy stuff in Dublin 24 for the last half hour, sky lightening up now.

    According to the weather channel...

    -3 DP

    1 air temp

    Sensation: -6

No real accumulation (just on car roofs and a bit in the grass), would be interested to see after dark if it keeps up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,512 ✭✭✭✭Supercell

Nice shower of moderate wet snow here now giving a slushy covering over everything. Great to see, thats winter done!

    pelting down snow now, dusting

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,576 ✭✭✭patneve2

still heavy snow, garden is white. Something tells me this is the snow highlight of winter 13/14...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 847 ✭✭✭wicklowdub

Getting dusting in Greystones now, too early to tell if its sticking. The wind is making it look heavy.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,576 ✭✭✭patneve2

Almost stopped now, dusting disappearing like a bottle of wine on Christmas day. Higher wicklow must have gotten at least an inch or two from this.
