    Dublin has borrowed the Cork snow shield, for the moment, its crystal clear, crisp and calm on the Bay.

    Yep. Good thick flakes falling now in Cork, quite heavy. Not even sticking to the car though, let alone anything else

    Bucketing down here in Plassey, Limerick. Not sticking yet but it definitely will if it keeps up. Going about 30 mins straight now

    Just seen the bbc forecast there on BBC News 24. Good forecast, it will be on again in twenty minutes.
    Great descriptions from the forecaster, talking about another beast full of rain coming on Friday for the English.
