Congrats to the Reggie family. 2 tips for you

1 Bring home two children from the hospital and return one after About 10 days, makes looking after one feel like a doddle.

2 I picked one day every week for the first 2 mts to take away from work to load man and junior into the car and take her for lunch away from the house and work. I'm really glad I did it and Mrs Del really enjoyed getting out of the house.

Your job is to look after Mammy.

    Enjoy and all the best
Oh I'm jumping straight in there with the feeding and nappy training to get up to speed. So much so that the OH states that the only time she has the baby is when I'm kicked out of the hospital at night and rest time :o

Jesus Reggie, that is not what I meant be very careful. Equity is only expected if you're too willing.

Is there any lad with an umbilical system around yer way that you could get?
I don't think so but I'll be enquiring for the future. There is one local contractor that likes to have the latest gear.

Luckily enough I've a hill that I can now access with the new roadway. It's dirty water that's going out really as the pipe taking water from the yard was blocked during the heavy rain of last few weeks (unblocked it but at that stage it was too late:rolleyes:). Anyway if it stays anyway dry tonight there might be only minor damage done. No option unfortunately.

went out there for a run/walk, block is just over 4 miles, took an hour. The amount of rubbish dumped is unreal. 2 miles of the walk is a country lane, tv's, windows, tyres, builders rubble, household waste etc dumped . I know one neighbour reported it to litter warden a few weeks ago and they got someone for some of it.
Fair duece biddy, keep it up. Soon you'll be running 5 miles in one go without stopping. It gets easier and more enjoyable as you get fitter... I promise:)

A mate of mine has an 18 month old that he still hasnt picked up , let alone minded him on his own . He claims he is frightened to but its time to get stuck in now .

I have no bother changing nappies or doing any of that craic . Sure when you see the way the midwives can hold them and weigh and clean straight after being born you shouldnt be afraid of handling at all , they are tough enough little creatures despite their size

Tough little buggers alright but it's easy to get a little frightened with them at first

Well then I heard he's not going for it,,,,something negative anyway.

    FROM YESTERDAYS IRISH TIMES

Former farmers’ leader John Bryan has decided not to run as a Fine Gael candidate in the European elections, while another Fine Gael minister is poised to announced his intention to become an MEP.

East Clare harriers hunting here today.
@shole opened double gates into the farm yard to turn his truck.
Threw chain on the ground and drove off leaving gates wide open onto public road.
Who do these people think they are .

And on the subject of kids, I will always tell my dad he'll be waiting a long time as something like melon and eye of a needle always comes to mind after seeing many many newborns:eek:
