yes there is without doubt, if you actually take the time and effort to look into it, it is a very real thing that is happening

The universe isn't really as old as we'd like to think when it comes to a universe that is capable of supporting life. Our sun has apparently blown up and reformed 3 times from what I remember. It took that amount of time to end up with the elements we have in our solar system now. It may be likely a solar system needs at least 2 or 3 cycles to have the right elements to support life. So the idea that there's life out there billions of years ahead of us is probably false.

Humanity evolved and changed into it's current form from a common animal very quickly, 150,000 years is nothing and the process is accelerating. We don't know if that's just what happens when an animal becomes aware or something freakishly fast, meaning we're ahead of the curve.

Over all if there are aliens out there I don't think we'll see them until we're gone far out into the galaxy. Until then the only advantage to any other intelligent species is to study us from a far and see how we develop. There's probably a large no go sanctuary around this section of the galaxy.

Im not saying they are from our own solar system but theres an infinity about of suns in different galaxies. and who says they are from "outer" space? they could live in interstellar space or here on earth long before we were ever here.... sure they could be living under the antartic or the sea the last million years and nobody would know

It's pretty difficult to believe an advanced intelligent species is living underground watching us enjoying the surface life using up all the planets resources. They would more than likely have similar or larger power requirements than we do and we've ripped the planet to bits finding enough power to keep us going.

I hope there is life out there.

If there isn't then its all on us, we are the only chance to understand the universe, if we are alone there is nothing left.

And we can't be trusted to purchase booze after 10.

I have no doubt advanced alien civilizations exist somewhere in the Cosmos. I also think we flatter ourselves greatly to think they'll turn up here to have a look at us. It'd be like cycling to Bundoran in December to go to a chipper. :D

yes but this idea that they're going to look like the lads in the movies is plain silly.
In actual fact if there life out there the chances are it might not even be detectable to us.
It could be microscopic,i believe there are aliens living amongst us,minute particles that we don't have the technology to detect.

who says they need any of the earths resources?? check out element 115. Bob lazar said years ago that's what the aliens use to power their ships. he claimed to work at area 51 and was involved in reverse engineering the ufo. and to add to his claim, scientists have recently confired element 115 exists

I found an element the other day, was hiding in my kettle

its reasons like this that no one believes in UFO's people get ridiculed. do you know that 64% of all astronauts have seen UFOs!!! and they are the most highly trained witness you could ever hope for

80% of people on internet forums make up fake satistics,

I have no evidence to back up this claim do you have any evidence to support yours?

here is an example of an astronaut that has come out about the topic.... 6th person to walk on the moon as well...

On an episode of Ancient Aliens they spoke at length about the FACT that Bigfoot is an extraterrestrial. That's all the evidence I need.

I would tend to agree that the probability is very high of their being other intelligent life forms in the universe buuuut..

Im not sure that there will ever be a way of overcoming technological barriers to travelling interstellar distances.

Regardless of how 'evolved' a species becomes they are unlikely to evolve to a point where they will overcome the laws of physics.

It could just be that there are no technological solutions possible and that there are millions of intelligent species out there who we will never be able to contact and who will never be able to contact us!

Even the light from the most distant known galaxy has taken almost 13 billion years to reach earth and that's only the furthest known galaxy!

He has all sorts of nutty views in fairness. That obviously doesn't disprove what he says about UFOs, but it does show that even highly experienced and intelligent scientists are sometimes capable of irrational thinking.

FWIW, I do believe in aliens.. or at least I want to believe =p

You said 64% where is the proof of this,
and sure wouldn't most things they see up there be classed as UFO's

and the 6th person, probably hyping himself up no one is going to remember the 6th person to walk on the mood,
but if I claim I saw something they might remember me

Life outside our solar system yes (could be some inside on some moons)

Aliens kidnapping rednecks or some guy from Tesco car park what's the point doubt they would learn anything from them. Why not just kidnap Stephen Hawking or similar for example to acutely learn about our understanding of the universe.

Stephen Hawking has claimed in the past that there probably is but if they ever visited earth they would just exploit our natural resources and get the f*ck out.*

*obviously he phrased it better than this

If their a living creature they have to eat and ****. It's one thing to say they can use a magic element for all their power needs from running mobile devices to power stations but where does their **** go?

    check out element 115.
Focus did an article on all the heavier elements. Scientists didn't so much discover it as make some, which only last for a few milliseconds. How did the aliens at the centre of our earth make this stuff? How did they go from ignorant to super intelligent without making any mistakes or leaving any trace of their existence on the planet they live on. Even bacteria can leave traces of their existence in the geology of this planet. How could they learn anything underground?

scientists have recently confired element 115 exists
It's just one of many they discovered around the same time and it doesn't as such exist, you won't really find it anywhere, it has to be made. Theoretically there's many more heavy elements that they can make
80% of people on internet forums make up fake satistics,
5% of this thread is made up of that statists joke.

I don't see why they would. Earth isn't the resource rich lump of rock we'd like to think it is. There's nothing on this planet (bar life) that's worth the effort.

I think that's paraphrasing as we don't have any special resources that cannot be found even within our own solar system. Unless they harvest life as a resource. The idea for example aliens come for our gold or other sum such is complete nonsense there is way more gold/precious metals in the asteroid belts.

just look at all the high ranking military officials, cia agents with 25 years experience that have all said this is all true. Canadian minister for defence said there are aliens and he was lucky enough to be told as such. and the whole roswell case, even the military THEMSELVES said they have got a "flying saucer" in their possession... a day later story change and the biggest cover up in human history began.

Nope sorry your saying Interstellar beings who have mastered interstellar travel seem to have problems and crash constantly in our atmosphere ... I'm sorry just no. Other option is they were shot down.. err sorry no kinetic/chemical weapons vs. interstellar beings technology. This is not the movies M4 does not beat particle weapons or whatever they could have.

and I presume most people that are interested in UFOs know who Dr, J Allen Hynek??!! he was hired by the US government as a total non believer as part of project Blue Book, to investigate and rubbish all UFO sightings. By the he left he said it was all true and he was a believer

so what if they crash in "our atmosphere" probably totally different to the one they are used to and they could be explorers just like NASA is currently exploring mars. What if they were 1 billion years ahead of us technology wise? who knows what way they travel, they probably bend space like Einstein suggested so they don't really travel at all.....

The Americans would only love for the rest of the world to believe they've got an alien ship in one of their military bases and that only America is the nation that Aliens would choose to work with.

The fact is they outsource a big chunk of their military work to other countries, as far as I know it's the Israelis working on a lot of American drones. So the idea that all this new modern technology is just based on what the Americans discovered in Roswell is bunkum.

The vast majority of all alien propaganda comes out of America. Why isn't there as many sightings in the rest of the world? Are aliens just not interested? Remember this is the country that also has the national pastime of seeing Jesus in things like toast.

Would not have anything to do with selling books ? As I'm sure if it was true he would be under some kind of secrecy agreement that carries huge jail time or considered treason and that's the death penalty in the USA.
