82 points. Gained 27 on one rival. Pushed me a further 17 ahead of another.

That's how to use a wildcard folks.

    74, lovely.

Out of interest, how many points did people score today including players subbed in? Wondering if my 23 from today will push me higher. Would be more than happy if I stay at 22k but there's a decent chance I'll squeeze into the teens ;)

What a disaster, went with Long and benched Dzeko because Aguero was back and every site said he wouldn't start. So thats 13 points sitting on the bench.

    56 points :(

    Shane Long?! :eek::confused:

F**k me, sounds like 23 from today isn't great at all.

37 from tonight alone. 71 overall. Januzaj s cameo last night cost me finishing on 80.

Pretty poor 62 this week, was to expected with the injuries though. Hits will be had!

Dropping Suarez is a ludicrous notion

It's a big big risk... but that's were I'm at, I'd prefer to finish 580k than the 280k I am at present.

If SaS ownership rockets then this is a no go.
But if the majority of people just had 1 then, I think it can be justified...

This was my potential plan up until GW30:

Before tonight I saw it as:
Sturridge & RVP vs Suarez & Aguero

Sturridge v Suarez: In games played with Suarez this season he is averaging ~2.5 points per game less. From what I've seen of Sturridge since his return he is playing more advanced than there pre Christmas spell together.
Suarez was on fire over that time, he may slack off ever so slightly... My hope would be that they would come close to having similar returns, but Suarez will win out.

    Then it's over to
RVP v Aguero: Tonights injury may be a set back to this... but he definitely wasn't going to be playing GW 28 and 29. I also think with the quality at hand that he may be rested for a GW or two around the Barca games and Cup Final... I think City will open up a gap and they have the luxury of serious quality up front.
RVP on the other hand, I think he'll play most games.
United need a serious push if they want to get into top 4. Mata is also a big plus for RVP.
With Aguero playing at least 1 less game than him and maybe more, I think RVP can outscore him by the Sturridge v Suarez difference.
Things would have to go my way with Aguero being rested to create a big difference.

The 2 pairings are about the same "real" values.
Suarez & RVP means that my team suffers elsewhere, too much negative

Would I prefer to keep to the safe bet of Suarez and Aguero....absolutely.
Do I think it's a risk...Yes, but I could see it working too as a differential
Is is ludicrous.... I don't think so

It's time to sh*t for me I'm afraid.... And I am afraid :D but hopeful

-20. You mad egg. Were those -20 worth it?
Not really but had to be done all the same. I have to take risks. -8 of that was getting in Cabaye then getting rid after his transfer.

Looks like another hit next week as I've Coleman, Mutch, Aguero and Chester who are all injured.

I really made a balls of my WC and now it's coming back to haunt me.

I'm glad you didn't post this 2 days ago or I may well have been converted :pac:

You're saying the things I sometimes think about late at night but don't mention out loud for fear of ridicule.

87 (-4) My bargain basement defence came good. Manoone, Gabby, Williamson, Terry. Cheeky punt on Johnson paid off and Mata a nice return. Aguero's injury the only balls as I was planning on banking transfer this week...

80 pts. Great score. And the January prize in my private league .

Aguero's injury (added to Coleman and Chester whom I'll probably get rid) is annoying though...

I'd prefer if I hadn't made some stupid mistakes pre christmas but I am where I am and it's time to go out in style...
Couldn't care less about the ridicule.... I don't think it's a crazy thought process, RVP being a ridiculous differential... I'll take that, only because I need to take that ;)

Think so, Stoke have been poor of late and have conceded big a few times this year.
Would prefer to have a home capt, but even though city are almost fixture proof.... I think Chelsea have really got their act together at the back, so when I was weighing it up, Aguero (was fit at the time obv) at home to Chelsea was prob the worst home game they could have imo.

just watching motd aguero looked so sharp such a shame he is injured again he is some player. Feckin yaya again thats 3 pens he has had this year just a few mins after aguero has been taken off every time.

City have a nice run of fixtures after the Chelsea game too.

? Go on, elaborate.... He has scored a few against them, nothing major but decent returns all the same.

Fulham at home the week after is the biggie
