I was never a fan of his so don't know too much about him but he seems like an enigma.

Was his home built Funderland there to attract kids to him and feed his dark side or was he fulfilling the childhood he lost by building it, why did he buy the Beatles back catalogue, why are there conspiracies about him now???

Reading YouTube comments under his videos is a complete mind****.

    He was Bad.

    You know it.

Nobody knows the truth. In my view it seems like he never had a childhood and wanted to recreate that in a way. Unfortunately his childhood thing manifested itself in a sexual way, and I although I doubt it was ever malicious to him, it was bad for the children he associated with. The whole story with the secret room in his house is a bit sinister, and I have no doubt he probably gave kids alcohol to relax them when they stayed over.

Doesn't detract from the fact he was a legendary musician.

I was very upset looking at the footage of the Jackson 5 carrying Michael's coffin when he died.

I thought it was Cool Runnings on, and that's my favourite film.

He experienced to much success at too young an age. The Justin Bieber of the 80's.

He lived in the American Funderland.
He had good music once upon a time.
    He used to be black.
    Then he was white.
    He touched children.
    He was a weirdo.
    He could dance.
He made the worst movies ever.
His music was fairly shyte towards the end.
    He died.

    Thats the story.

Drop me a PM if you want me to elaborate on any bit of that.

I feel sorry for him to be honest. I feel sorry for most super-famous people. Not famous people, they are mostly just cnuts, but super-famous people have a whole extra world of famousness thrust upon them that the cnuts only wish they had, but would regret it if they did.

How did Michael know when it was time for bed?

When the big hand touches the little hand.

Odd as fûck but I doubt he was a pedo. Once he was rich he could finally live out his childhood and because of how rich he was he could recreate what he thought was the perfect childhood. Thus he befriended kids. Not that I'm condoning his behavior (like I said, he was odd) but it's very unlikely there was any malice involved. P.S. The parents of the kids who accused him of molestation were found out to be liars and basically very unpleasant people.

    Child abuse isn't funny.

He didn't live in the real world. How could he. Somebody like that is only to be pitied

He was a genius and it's sad to see memory so tarnished, as I wouldn't say even a thousandth of what they wrote about him was true.

Justin Bieber will never sell as many albums as Jackson if Bieber was around in the '80s. I wasn't around back then but I can tell Jackson had a more general fanbase that didn't only consist of 12-year-old girls.

Sent nuts by living in the spotlight glare of corporate celebrity culture, musically I think he progressively declined after the brilliant Off the Wall album, a lot of people in his position would have gone mad, something that's overlooked by the snark merchants and piss takers.

The real deal with Micheal Jackson is that he's Mr. Burns' assistant. He's in his early forties, is unmarried, and currently resides in Springfield. Thanks for writing!

He grew up in an abusive family. Adults were people who controlled him, and used him for their own gain. As he became a teen, he was unable to form 'normal' relationships with his peers or adults as he didn't, and couldn't trust them.

As he got older, he found that the children were the only people that had genuine affection for him, yet wanted nothing from him in return (well other than simple attention).

He felt comfortable around children, and thus surrounded himself with them once he had control over his own life. Odd yes, but understandable and not any indication of any wrongdoing in itself.

The only question is; did his sexual desires gravitate towards children because he couldn't trust others his own age? It's impossible to say, but it's certainly possible.
I'm sure there were at least some people out there who would have just seen a mega rich, naive guy who was surrounded by children and sensed an opportunity to get rich by crying 'abuse'.

Even if he did abuse children, I still feel sorry for him. He was very damaged by his childhood.
(And of course, if he did abuse, then I would feel so sorry for his victims as well).

    Completely misrepresented and misunderstood.

People who knew him such as Elizabeth Taylor, Chris Tucker, Donald Trump, etc. have described him as (paraphrasing) an amazing father, shrewed business man, kind, loving, generous, funny, genius.

And he was most definitely into women , not children. "I tell women I meet that I have a dog, I would hear MJ tell women he has a Zoo! How do you top someone that has a Zoo?"

If you watch videos of Michael these traits clearly come through, including asking his people to get a womans number and telling a woman (possibly she didn't hear but the mic clearly did) he will give her "more than a hug"

It's despicable all the charitable things he did and most probably don't know about. Here is a long list http://www.truemichaeljackson.com/charity/ and he did even more than that according to people who knew him.

Why did he give the boy in the first case $20 million to never speak about what happened if he was innocent of all charges?

I would have thought most people would fight tooth and nail to prove their innocence.

In fairness, buying up Northern Songs (beatles back catalogue) was a shrewd move.

What would you have done if your people said it could go on for ages and couldn't guarantee the outcome (it was a civil trial so beyond reasonable doubt was not necessary) and people were coming forward with stories for a payout (according to mj). It could be causing you mental issues and at the time settling and getting on with your career might look like the better gamble than having these stories continue to be printed for even longer and even losing the case. (which would have affected his career more?)

Don't know if this was directed at me or not but I'll give my own view anyway.

To be accused of being a nonce would be the worst thing I could imagine happening to me and I certainly wouldn't be paying someone off to shut them up if my conscience was clear.

But realistically we will never know as Jackson is dead and the kid involved won't ever speak of it after 20 years.

Some actually believe that his insurance settled without his permission. (I have never looked into why they believe that)

You can hear what he has to say about settling at 0:50 (the start and some of P1 relates to the case too)
