No No No to all the answers above. I want to look good and none of your answers are helping so far:rolleyes::cool::D

I think going bald has to be traumatic to some people, but as a laydee I'll hopefully never feel your pain.

But...this subject has come up before and there's usually one or two who'll talk about how they tried to deal with it but eventually just shaved their heads and it was liberating.

A shaved head can look totally hot. Trying to disguise a spot with tons of product and a precious attitude is never hot. It's a sad double standard.

If you can't face shaving it, try getting it down to a blade 3 or 4, really tight. I saw Derren Brown with his hair very tight and it looked great.

    No thanks:

you're a man - your gonna go bald at some stage.
trying to hide the fact is not helping

if it upsets you so much - get rid of it all - it's only hair. If it were a limb, it might be a different story.

humming a Carly Simon song as I write this......

Is it ' YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO' from the 'HELLO BIG MAN' album ???

My girlfriend has this exact same problem

I'm not advocating the stylishness or effectiveness of an actual combover. They suck. I'm assuming that he's not completely bald, he said he is receding.

As long as he feels a little more confident by styling his hair a certain way to make it look like he has more hair, go nuts I say.

I certainly wouldn't call anyone a moron over it.
Thanks for supporting me.I am not completely bald.Just hair line receding and looks bad . Yeah people calling moron just because i want to look good:o

Exactly !! Yeah that's what I mean. Everyone is asking me to embrace baldness when I am trying to look at other options here.I want to look good if you know what I mean.
Truth is that you might not look good. Majority of people spot it as someone going bald trying to cover it up. A lot of people laugh at it but I generally feel sorry for someone who feels that insecure about losing their hair. Women find covering up a bald spot much more of a turn off than the bald spot. I guess it displays a lack of confidence. A better option is just cut it in a style that works with your particular balding pattern. Tt doesn't have to mean shaving your head. Transplants are a good option and I've seen them work on a couple of people I know. Moving somewhere there isn't wind is not a viable option.
I saw a guy at the zoo a couple of years ago. From middle distance I could tell there was something weird with his head. Then when I got closer I say that he was balding and had his head sprayed in places to try and cover it up. He ended up looking really strange and it actually drew more attention to the fact he was going bald.

Bring a bag(handbag) to work with your products in it. (Towel gel hairspray make up tampon)
Style your hair in the bathrooms(mens) wear a hat on the way.

    Sorted

This might sound silly but does anyone has same problem?

If you are a male and your hairline is receding but you spend 10-15 minutes to style your hair to cover the baldness and as soon as you walk out in the wind on the way to work everything is messed up leaving you look horrible.

Not sure what can be done about it !! ( Not shaving my head by the way)

    you need a newspaper

Find an example of someone with a receding hairline that has managed to hide it without looking daft.

yeah, some men are morons we know this. If something is happening to you that you (1) cannot control and (2) cannot reverse your only option is to embrace it.

    comb overs never work
    *never*

Ah here. Youre not a man unless you stubbornly engineer a way around an unavoidable problem, regardless of how it looks!

I think guys who shave their head when they are balding, look far better than the guys with the receding hairlines trying desperately to keep what little hair they have left. Let it go OP, let it go. No hair is more attractive than a combover. ;)

    No shaving . I dont want to:mad:

I know I would rather spend five minutes with a razor than 10-15 poncing around with a GHD and spending the rest of the day worrying about my comb over/coiff.

If you're not brave enough to shave, try chemo.

    These are your options:

    Hide with comb-over = lame
Spend a packet on hair replacement = may end well or may end up like a Barbie doll head
Use potions/over the counter products = may not work for you, and you have to keep using them.
Shave = isn't so bad, more hygienic and a wipe with a damp cloth is all you need to 'wash' it.

you're a man - your gonna go bald at some stage.

If you think all men go bald, you're not qualified to comment.

OP, if wind is affecting your hair to that extent you should see a doctor, but in the meantime you should cut back on curries and beans IMMEDIATELY. Farts shouldn't bend.
