    Shave it all off, work out loads and never smile and people might just mistake you for Jason Statham. (obviously if you could appear in multiple formulaic, straight to DVD action movies that would help too)

    Thanks everyone. I can see that there are only two options for me. Either move to a diff country with no high winds or get transplant. Thanks for all your answers :)

    Third option: cut your hair really short, it works for me anyway.

    I'm the exact opposite. I hate having hair and resent any time I have to spend on it.

    I have a huge shock of hair. It's unmanageable as it's very, very thick and grows quickly. I don't like the colour either, it's a dark sandy blonde ( a cousin once referred to it as "Mousy fart brown")

    I clip my hair down to stubble every 2 weeks or so, as I sit here the stubble on my cheeks is longer than on my head (I hate shaving too)

    Embrace the clippers, be a man. You're deluding yourself. You're spending 15 minutes styling your hair to try and cover a bald spot and I guarantee you that your receding hairline is obvious to everyone else

    No No No to all the answers above. I want to look good and none of your answers are helping so far:rolleyes::cool::D

    This might sound silly but does anyone has same problem?

    If you are a male and your hairline is receding but you spend 10-15 minutes to style your hair to cover the baldness and as soon as you walk out in the wind on the way to work everything is messed up leaving you look horrible.

    Not sure what can be done about it !! ( Not shaving my head by the way)

    Watch American Hustle - Christian Bale has it down to a fine art how to cover that bald patch - end of problem.

    That's because nobody has yet said 'go and spend 3-4k on a hair transplant that's likely to look crap'.
    Why not have your hair cut shorter by a decent barber, take an expert's advice on it, in fact why not try shaving it once?! You might even like it!

    get one of those see-through umbrellas and walk around with it not completely open with you standing inside it! you'll be able to see where you're going and the wind cant get ya!

    Stop telling him to embrace his baldness people, some men hate going bald and will do anything to make it look like they have more hair. I'm beginning on that journey myself and not looking forward to it as I don't want to shave my head (its a weird shape!).

    OP, wear a beanie hat on your way to work and bring a comb or whatever with you and fix it up when you get in.

    yeah, some men are morons we know this. If something is happening to you that you (1) cannot control and (2) cannot reverse your only option is to embrace it.

    comb overs never work
    *never*

    Exactly !! Yeah that's what I mean. Everyone is asking me to embrace baldness when I am trying to look at other options here.I want to look good if you know what I mean. I am considering hair transplant maybe as friend of mine got it done last year and he looks just perfect now. Will just need to save some money. I am going to use umbrella against wind and carry a hair brush to sort it when reach at work for the moment:)

    you're a man - your gonna go bald at some stage.
    trying to hide the fact is not helping

    if it upsets you so much - get rid of it all - it's only hair. If it were a limb, it might be a different story.

    humming a Carly Simon song as I write this......

    So say God forbid if you lose your job and poverty hits you, would you just embrace it? I mean when there is technology why not to go for it. Hair transplant?

    Real men vs. Wussies:

    Yul Brynner vs. Wayne Rooney;
    Telly Savalas vs. Elton John;
    Sean Connery vs. Ernie Wise (allegedly);
    Ben Kingsley vs. Bruce Forsythe;
    BrensBenz vs. Truth Wins.

    And please don't tell us you use "product" during your daily 10 - 15 minute love-in with your mirror! Putin might be reading this......

    I'm not advocating the stylishness or effectiveness of an actual combover. They suck. I'm assuming that he's not completely bald, he said he is receding.

    As long as he feels a little more confident by styling his hair a certain way to make it look like he has more hair, go nuts I say.

    I certainly wouldn't call anyone a moron over it.
