If Messi starts and Villareal have a similar lineout to the last match the -1.5AH double tonight looks tempting. Villareal blew them away on Monday and were 5 nil up after 60 mins. One word of warning though is that it was the first home game Villareal had won in 6.

Also it was mentioned earlier but that Ladbrokes money back if both teams score is now live Utd. v Chelsea. All markets other than BTTS related ones. Only allows 25 back though.

Obvious choice would be to back under 2.5 goals for a fairly risk free bet as if there were 3 i'd be expecting both to have scored. Only one goal in the last 2 games between them. Mourinho will try keep it tight.

    Alfreton V Tamworth
Im all over Alfreton, overs (2.5) 4/7, win both halfs 10/3 and straight win 8/13

Alfreton aided by an outstanding home record of eleven wins, one draw and just two defeats on home turf, Nicky Law’s side have had an outstanding season so far, climbing to third place in a very competitive division and firmly cementing themselves in the play-off places in recent weeks.
And the Reds could even go joint-second on points if they can gain a revenge win over Tamworth for a 1-0 defeat in Staffordshire in mid-November when a Nick Chadwick goal proved decisive.
Alfreton will have enjoyed a nine-day period of rest prior to the game whilst Tamworth played last Saturday and on Tuesday evening in the FA Trophy, the latter being a Third Round replay which went to extra-time and penalties before the Lambs edged through to the last eight of the competition.
Tamworth arrive at Alfreton in the relegation places in twenty-first place, two points away from safety although they have games in hand over their nearest rivals. They have also lost their last four away games in a row in the league but showed their capabilities by winning at Forest Green Rovers recently.
Their away form in the league has seen them win two and draw two of their eleven games so far and they have also found goals difficult to come by, scoring only nine and conceding 25.
In contrast, Alfreton have scored three goals in half of their league games at home which have seen plenty of entertainment with 47 goals netted at either end so far.

Very strong Barce team,Even if they play a few from the bench Asian -2@1.93 looks alright.Might wait for line-ups but Barce have covered this in their last 5 games against Getafe going back to April 2012.

There is an important distinction to mention regarding this offer: it is money back AS A FREE BET on losers up to €25, rather than you actually getting your dosh back "into the lámh"! Bit disappointed when I scuttled into Laddies at lunchtime and found out.

So in other words, it's not money back.

Will be avoiding this nonsense myself as from experience people end up wasting their 25 quid and having a free bet which also goes to waste

I didn't read the small print myself. Presumed it was similar to Bet365 as I don't use Ladbrokes. Still a good offer for anyone thinking of having a bet on this game.

Early shout for Jelavic anytime on Saturday. Hull have said he's in the squad and @ 3/1 (bet365) could be a steal to score especially with the pressure on Hughton atm.

Bet 365 have Joe Lolley Anytime @ 5.50 (Huddersfield)

England's best non-league player making the step up to Championship level. I said a few pages back I would take anything around 4.00. so I am all over this. QPR have good defense though (less that a goal-per-game conceded at home), but this guy was amazing at Kidderminster, should make a decent impact on Saturay I hope.

Will he get any game time though with nakhi wells and James Vaughan there pretty decent strike force at Huddersfield

I feel like they will have to try him. He is on fire right now, and they worst possible move they could make is having him sit on the bench for a few games. They gave Wells almost a full half to prove himself last game (and he scored). I think they could do the same for Lolley tomorrow

I'd still be happy giving Lolley an anytime shot for only 45' on the pitch,

    Nancy - Bastia
    Nancy -1 @ 1.95
    Nancy and over 2.5 @ 2.1

It seems to be the best bet of the night although I am no expert of the L2.
Nancy is a good team in L2 in France, they were used to play in the L1 last year and didn't loose too many key players when they were relegated. They won the last 5 matches at home and are 6th with 9 points behind the leader.

In the other hand Bastia are the bottom of the league with only 1 match won, 6 draws and 12 defeats. Apparently they didn't travel with their full squad so we might see lots of goals tonight :D.

Small to medium bet for me on this match :).

    Dutch Jupiler league

    Dordrecht - Excelsior
    Pick: Dordrecht & over 2,5
    Odds: 2.62
    Bet365

1st match after the winter break and we see the local derby on the menu

News during the break: Dordrecht lost a rather important defender in Lima who went of to one of the Al Shababs in the desert.
They replaced him with Jordy van Deelen from Feyenoord who i expect to do well for them. Just unlucky that Feyenoord has a lot of young defenders so he was stuck to playing for Jong Feyenoord and this is obviously a step up for him He is eager to do well because his contract at Feyenoord is finished at the end of the season and with his 19 years could be an interesting player for many teams in Holland when he performs well with Dordrecht.

Excelsior is in the crapper financially, they will end this year with a 3 million euro debt around their neck.
They lost their manager during the break to Roda (Jon Dahl Tomasson) and also could lose their top goal scorer (13 goals) Veldwijk to Roda.

If the results of Doredrecht at home before the break are anything to go by, this bet should come in easily

    Dordrecht at home: Dordrecht 10 8 1 1 29:13
    Excelsior away: Excelsior 11 3 5 3 14:13

Sorry I couldn't reply before kickoff, that was a big trap, CA Bastia's missings were not that important. I actually wanted to tip CA Bastia double chance @ 3.30 here but I had something important to do.

Anyway I already posted about CAB last week, they've signed some quality players as they're desperate to avoid relegation.

and before people say aftertiming... I took DC in play

hmm two teams in good form, hard to call this game tbh.

Sochaux vs Montpellier is a big big game for both teams tomorrow, unders should be a good bet, probably Sochaux DNB too, will do some research tomorrow.

Had a bit of time on my hands this morning and decided to have a look at the Liverpool v Villa game and came up with the following bets and thoughts (allbeit info from several sites).
Liverpool to win and both teams to score @ 9/5 on Coral or 6/4 PP depending where you have an account
-Cardiff, Crystal Palace, Southampton, West Brom, West Ham and Norwich have all scored at Anfield meaning that Liverpool have conceded in 6 out of their last 8 home games
-15 of Suarez's 22 goals coming at Anfield
    - Villa have scored in 4 of their last 5 away league games
    - Only problem No team has conceded fewer home goals than Liverpool this season in the Premier League (6).
Another bet well highlighted in this thread is the Liverpool first half performances
-They have not conceded a 1st half goal this season.
    Goals for 18, against 0
    - from what i can see Villa have only scored once away from home in the league this season
Liverpool HT Result @ 8/15 general
    Liverpool (-1) HT handicap @ 11/5 PP

Also based on Suarez's performances @ Anfield - 2 or more @ 2/1 on Betfair appeals

    Roma v Livorno:

    Roma over 2.5 team goals

    @1.91

I think most of us know Roma are having some season in Serie A this year. Started fantastic with 17 games unbeaten until they lost 3-0 to Juventus, which is no embarrassment considering how good Juve are. They bounced back from that loss with a 4 nil win at home to Genoa and a 1 nil win in the cup to Sampdoria. They've scored 39 goals and conceded 10 in the league. At home they've scored 24 and conceded 2. They've scored 4 goals in each of their last 2 home games and generally do well against the weaker teams. They have an almost full squad to pick from with only 1 player out, Balzaretti.

Livorno are in trouble. They're joint last on 13 points with only W3 and D4 all season. Away from home they won their first match and drew their second. They then lost their next seven conceding 15 and scoring 1. The Livorno president is getting stick from fans for selling players and not bringing anyone in. He also sacked the head coach and replaced him with his assistant, who the fans asked not to take the job, so all is not going well. They have some big relegation battles coming up in their next 5/6 matches. They play Sassuolo at home next week and they're only 4 points off them so its a 6 pointer. They'll have one eye on these games imo.

    Another good bet would be:

    Over 3.5 Total goals - @2.50

EDIT: I'm going to double up my main bet with Liverpool team goals - Over 2.5 - @1.75.

I usually hate backing my own team but the stats at home are there and Sturridge is back so I expect goals.

Last two games between West Ham and Newcastle have been a 0-0 draw.
Newcastle have lost the last 4 and West Ham's home record leaves a lot to be desired.
I think both managers are going to be pretty cautious, and it'll probably descend into a scrappy, physical game.

I think 9/1 for the 0-0 with Paddy Power is worth a small stake.
You can get better odds elsewhere, but PP are doing money back on correct scores if it's a draw, which is probably the most likely result if there are goals.

Sochaux (19th out of 20) vs Montpellier (17th)
    Sochaux DNB @ 1.88
    Sochaux double chance @ 1.50

HUGE game for Sochaux, it's do or die for them, they have to win this game. If they lose, they're virtually relegated.
I already wrote about Sochaux last week (good coach, won the ACN with Zambia, signed a couple of Zambians plus Jordan Ayew on loan from Marseille) They were pretty decent last week away to Lyon, but a blunder from their 2nd choice GK (he's really awful imo) cost them the game. Their GK is the only thing that worries me here, as Montpellier have an excellent striker in Mbaye Niang (on loan from AC Milan).
Montpellier's coach stated that he'd happy with a draw, as his team is in a much better position than Sochaux, and even a defeat wouldn't be the end of the world for them.

    Sochaux's last 4 home games:
    - 0-0 vs St Etienne, St Etienne were down to 10 men after 30 min, Sochaux dominated but couldn't break down the St Etienne defense
    - 1-1 vs Bastia, they were robbed by the ref in this game, Bastia shouldn't have scored and Sochaux had a legit goal ruled out.
    - 0-2 vs Reims, Reims are a great away team, Sochaux prolly underestimated them
    - 2-1 vs Rennes, Sochaux had to win and they did, Rennes are not a bad team at all.

Montpellier will most likely play defensively like they did in their last away game (0-0 vs Bastia, Bastia dominated but couldn't score)
