Had a random young fella come into work while I was reading the paper ask who owned the St.

Said twas myself and he said he was trying to build up a portfolio of proffesional car photos and said he would take some of my car whenever suited me for free.

Pointed him towards the galway and athlone c+c meets as a good source of nice metal.

So if anyone around galway is interested I can pm you on his details. Seems like a sound chap.

At about 11pm last night I was driving home on a dual carriageway. I was flying along at 120 and came up to a merging lane on my left. I saw a car off the far left of the merging lane inching or stopped and generally looking a bit odd.

I was about 100m back when suddenly the car flys round in front of me across the driving lane and into the overtaking land and starts coming toward me. At least when I braked and started blaring the horn at him he figured out what a monumentally stoopid thing he had done and circled around behind me and began heading the right way. IMO, he either got distracted by whatever pull up to a stop on the ramp and completely lost his marbles and though he was on a national road or else he was actually popping a U-turn and was going to drive back up the down ramp.

The shocking part is that this was a taxi with passengers.

Just made my day seeing this car still for sale
    http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/chrysler-300c-3-0-litre-diesel/4813608

When I was going car shopping in April with 12k in my pocket, they wouldnt let me take it for a test drive and (cutting a long story short) I ended up spending the money on my 535d.

Delighted to see it is still for sale, I am not surprised - given the lack of manners and downright rudeness with which I as a potential customer was greeted.

    Report the plate.

It all happened so quickly it didn't occur to me to get it. Once he was behind me, he stayed there meaning I would have practically had to get out of the car to get his numbers. Deliberate I'm sure. To be honest, I was so astounded by the scene I wasn't sure what to do. He wasn't driving aggressively. This was an Irish [looking] man in his 60's I would say. If I thought he was a lunatic wide-boy type (personally, I drive on weekend nights a lot and I'm sick of these guys terrorising the roads and streets on weekend nights), I would have made a point of getting his numbers I'm sure.

I dont do much night driving on the motorway so don't know about this, what do they do? do they try racing other cars and tailgating and stuff like that?

I've actually seen this happen a few times (3 times in my lifetime iirc) but a taxi driver

I don't so much mean the motorway. Mainly streets and A-roads and I really mean just excessive speeds, ridiculous tailgating, rude U-turns, aggressive lane changes and ridiculously inconsiderate stopping and parking. It's like the rules of the road (and common courtesy) go out the window for taxis in the weekends, tbh. That's just my opinion. There are some new cycle lanes here in Cork and from early evening on weekends, you'll see rows of taxis queueing on them making cyclists going home with shopping etc go around them.

Just went to parcel motel for a mystery package. Car parts I didn't order, for a car I dont own. Def not a drink + ebay thing. Wouldn't mind only it cost me 3.50 for something I dont want!

    What was it?

Chinese manufactured fog lamp (single unit) for a 90s bmw. I did order parts from the company in past, sent me wrong fitment window regs. They did say they'd make a contribution to the return postage. Wasn't expecting a random fog lamp as barter though!

Be a lil cautious. Could have been bought with a stolen cc and someone may get in touch to ask for it. Or you may be lucky!
