My boot wont stay open unless its push all the way up, its a mazda 6 hatchback so it is a heavy boot lid but sometimes it wont stay up at all so one of the struts or both is fooked, will i be able to tell which one is ****ed if i take them off the car, ie, can they be compressed by hand?

Yep one should be more deaded than the other :)

Bug them for something nicer at the desk.
If it's a big company you're training with it's worth chancing your arm and saying you're somewhat important. :D

If one is dead, it's only a matter of time before the other one is killed to death. Best off to replace in 2's. They're not pricey are they?

You don't know how much life is left in anything from the scrappy, but if it's cheap to buy and cheap to fit then it's worth risking.

I was driving home earlier and every time I planted the boot I was thinking about how quick the car revved up but it then dawned on me that my clutch was slipping..:(

Didn't have it overly long like only 2 days but put 20 euro in it and have it a good caning by times.
I would reckon it was putting back 35mpg anyway. All country Road driving.

Edit: Other than that, it was a fantastic car to drive. It felt really planted and comunicated everything really well.
Dare I say it had something my e60 didn't :)

The one I drove was an auto. The worst I saw in my 318 was about 30mpg. The seller of the Lexus said 30mpg was average, dipping to 25 and highest of 35 on a run.

Pease don't buy an automatic IS200, the gearbox is 80s style.

I'd definitely say them figures were right, It felt like more than 30mpg but thats not bad. This one was manual. I actually have a real thing for them since!

    Edit: 3000 posts :)
