I had a mars cup with a old picture and slogan saying "2 good ounces" which is about 57grams. Yorkies have dropped in size many times.

Aldi or lidl will sell bigger bars for less as mentioned, most find it to be nicer chocolate too, and if they say they don't they probably would in a blind tasting

This happens all the time

Coca cola and other soft drinks manufacturers did this about 5 years ago - reduced pub bottle sizes from 250 mls to 220 mls and upped the price

Lloyd Grossman pasta sauces reduced from 425 mls to 350

Innocent smoothies reduced from a litre to 750ml
