its not often a celeb death puts me in a downer but jeez he was one of my favourite characters of all time. The deadpan humour was just fantastic

I actually sat opposite him on the tube in London years ago. I was getting off at my stop and he was going further, when I stood up to get off, he looked up from his newspaper at me and I said "Alright Trigger?" in my best cockney accent, he just laughed and said "Alright Dave?" in his Trigger voice. Nice man.
