kos and ozil tonight. Will gladly give up the kos c.s as lots have doubled up on arsenal including the 2 people ahead of me in paid league and am sure nearly everybody has atleast 1 arsenal def at this stage.

Plenty of people dont, clean sheet would be better than not getting it.

i'd take a 0-0 but would prefer 2-0 with sagna being involved
in both and ozil and merte being involved in neither

Just realised I've Vlaar coming off the bench too (Nastasic and Turner no-shows), can't see that coming to much :o

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

No Rambo. Hopefully he'll drop another 6% now and I can pick him up before the weekend (assuming he'll be fit then)

I've two as well but the cost of a single goal costing you 12 points (plus likely bonus) would be too much for me to bare!
Plus it makes it a lot harder to get any offensive coverage for a team that scores goals pretty much every game.

Assuming* you mean defenders, if so then the big drawback (after the obvious if they concede you lose 3 clean sheets in one go) would be that all Arsenal slots are taken up and you'd have no attacking players from a team likely to score well given the fixtures

*if you didnt mean defenders then carry on, nothing to see here

Yep, it's definitely high-risk but Arsenal seem to be most likely of getting a clean sheet lately and their fixtures are great. It wouldn't be a bad move for a few weeks (pre-wildcard) if you are chasing a big lead and feel like a gamble. True, you don't get the benefit of Arsenal attackers, but with Walcott out the only one I would pump for would be Ozil, and there are a whole host of other midfielders to choose from.

I wouldn't recommend this as a long-term strategy, but for a few week gamble it could work really well. If you had Kos, Sagna + Mert for the last 2 weeks you would have pulled in 48 points, an average of 8 each per game, and there's nothing stopping them continuing this over the next 4 matches - Villa (A), Fulham (H), Southampton (A), Palace (H).

That being said, I didn't have the balls to do this myself - I'm nervous enough tonight having 2 Arsenal defenders!

That 21% isn't a true reflection. 36% of the top players have Ozil (as per SetMiners stats)

I think the time he scored that penalty ozil was off the pitch. I'm pretty sure he (ozil) will be on them.

Sagna almost with an assist. Pity it was Giroud on the end of it :(

    I'm not so sure.

What makes you so sure Ozil will take it? Has he taken one for Arsenal yet?

All my rivals seem to have atleast one. Sczeney 13% mert 30 % kos 9% sagna 5% are the ownership % I did think it would be a bit higher ( most of this ownership is probably active players though). I checked the top 20 of the new fsa league 2 people have no arsenal defenders, 4 people have 2, with the remaining 14 with 1. Ideal scenario for me is arsenal concede and kos goal

Well, he missed one against Marseille!
According to ffs he's second in line anyways. Hopefully we'll see (after Kos/Sagna get fouled :pac:)

I think Wenger said awhile ago he was second choice for penalties .

I don't know why people seem to be avoiding TheSetMiner's info, it's gold!

    https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E4yzy3zTWTWEWQMpGYCARD3brXnKPfPYLvXCR2wu6r4/edit

Correct figures are Szczesny 17%, Mert 64%, Kos 14.5% and Sagna 11.5%

I don't even care for this game tonight now and it's ended up being my first week without fielding 11 players. 10 players and a -4 which is really -1 as AJ got 3 points when Ravel wouldn't have played.

If Ozil hadn't been injured against Cardiff I wouldn't have sold him and brought in Arteta. Walcott then goes and gets a long-term injury thus making Ozil hot property again. So instead of saving .2 or more I now have the luxury of paying at least .1 more than I sold him for having already lost .2 that I originally purchased him for way back.

It's a cruel joke that's been played on me by the FPL gods and my own errors have compounded things. It'd be a relative non-issue if Walcott didn't get injured as Arteta would have been moved on this week rather than Wally. I'd better leave it at that but I am annoyed over it all.
