Well actually the heat image reflects in glass & mirrors so therefore you would actually see a reflected thermal image in a mirror or even a window.

I just didn't want to admit that & felt my initial response was more effective :-)

So Dec, you can lift your chin off the floor of shame & rest it firmly on the smugness shelf, LOL....

I've been meaning to ask for some time about a mains booster pump whilst flushing. I've always dumped faster than the incoming main and it slows the process up a good bit. Anybody know if a cheap mains booster pump I can get?
Salamander do one, but it's over 400 euro

I'm able to get my hands on a single impeller Salamander pump. 3 bar I think. Can get it very cheap. Think its worth 300 and I'd get it for 100. I'd never use it as a permenant fixture on the mains. It'd be only while I'm flushing and only in operation when the mains is flowing. I wonder would it work for what I need?

youd just be increasing pressure not flow then

TBH, I can't see that flow rate being generated. It's only a 560w motor, unless I am converting their stated 0.75HP motor which is 560w.
Fernox is an 1,100w motor & generates a flow rate of 90 litres per minute & a dump rate of 100 litres per minute.

Tis getting to the stage where it will be necessary to have a 1000 Ltr IBC in the back of the van in order to be able to get enough water fast enough to do the job properly. Strapping them down safely will be fun (NOT)

the next fun will come when having to charge the customer for the water used to flush the system if their mains can't provide enough flow. I know there's no way I'd get a sensible flow at home here, 50 Mtrs of half inch heavy wall hydradare from the mains to the house sees to that!

    Shades of Dyno rod:D

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

I dunno Shane I'm just going by the stats on the kamco site. I thought the fernox had a dump rate of 60l a min?

No, flow rate of 90 litres per minute & dump rate of 100 litres per min. Dump rates with all machines will always be higher than their flow rates due to less restriction.
