Got a pm from Benfica asking me to post this
    http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=164151

so i noticed on the thread that some people were saying that externals can still bid on unmanaged clubs players of buying from unmanaged players was turned off, this in incorrect.

The example given, of villa making a bid on a player who is unmanaged in copa del boards, is because the bid was made before the manager was sacked by leeds.

the link at the bottom is from a thread I started asking about it on the SM forums where an admin told me that unmanaged clubs wont sell players to anyone, external or managed

Yeah, ask the wrong question and you will get the wrong answer....

It should be will it stop external players buying BACK THEIR OWN players, not players in general........ If you want to get the correct answer be more specific......

Dave Shadow steered Tottenham Hotspur to victory against Paris Saint-Germain.
Tottenham Hotspur outclassed Paris Saint-Germain and thrashed them 6 - 0 in their Friendly fixture.

That's 5 goals in 2 games for Muniain. Gareth Who? :D

(EDIT: Is ignoring it was against the PSG second string team....)

Tommy Cahir steered Málaga CF to victory against Valencia.
Málaga CF outclassed Valencia and beat them 5 - 2 in a thrilling Friendly encounter.
Toprak scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

AJ Auxerre dominated much of the play against FC Schalke 04 but could only manage a 0 - 0 draw in their Friendly fixture.

65% possession but couldn't knock one past Cesar..

    Think I need a striker :o

Paul Jordan steered Los Angeles Galaxy to victory against Spartak Moskva.
Los Angeles Galaxy beat Spartak Moskva 3 - 0 in their Friendly fixture.

I'll probably throw up FC Marco Sau 88 on the transfer list, his wages of 28k are too rich for my tastes

Ok, the 10:00 deadline has passed ...

    Here's the deal:

Portsmouth had 24hrs to stick in a bid but didnt so GIGGS is now available to teams in all D2 / D3 / D4 ( going by the D's people will be in for S3)

I will do a draw for this ( have no webcam but will send one person the list of teams and will ask another person to pick a number at random.

One difference from previous sales like this:

    Giggs is valued @ 5.75m

People can offer as much or as little as they like, even p/x (but I will consider the players offered and might be countering the offers if not happy with p/x(i.e dont go offering a 33yr old 79rated ;)) just make sure it meets minimum value. Be smart, dont go offering too much

Giggs record for me in 2 seasons:
Club Comp App GS Ass MoM AvP YC RC
    Porto League 53 (4) 5 3 0 7.06 4 0
    Good Luck.

PS: I'll be accepting the winning bid Sunday after 22:00 so get you're offers in before then

    15mins remaining ...

great buy for someone in D3/4 but i expect him to announce his retirement soon so will get handy money unless they pay you over the odds.

Yeah, you get their value when they retire

So if he gets a big rating decrease I'm assuming his value will drop?

    Giggs deal:

I've randomly assigned a number to each of the bids for Giggs and I've sent the list to Mrmac84(incase there is any dispute)

Can the next person please post a number between 1 and 11incl.

I will then reveal the list and winner.

    Thanks
