53 (-4) looks a hell of a lot better than 17 (-4) even if it was pretty much Suarez getting me there, and a dodgy Sterling assist

Arteta and Kos along with Danny G's 1 point to come. I could do with Ozil staying quiet now.

Not a hope, Sturridge assisted himself when it came back from his initial effort, after that Suarez contribution doesn't matter anymore

I'm not sure about this. Last year Pienaar crossed, Mirallas headed and it hit the crossbar. Mirallas then scored the rebound and Pienaar was awarded the assist late on the Monday.

Hitting the crossbar is different to a keeper making a save

65 with Kos and Ozil to play. Have had worse WC's so quite content with that

68(-4) with Sagna and Merts to play. Only thing left on the wish list obviously is an Arsenal CS.

59 points after bonus which has just been applied. A key rival captained Negredo and not Suarez so delighted with that.

Not sure tonight if I'll rise or drop from my ranking of 3200 last night. Haven't lost any significant ground on the people who wildcarded early so that's the main thing.

Ozil and Mert left and Ward to sub in with one point.

Much of a muchness for me tbh. Both goals were scored from a rebound by the player who initially shot, be it from the crossbar or the keeper.

On 74 after bonus. Only Sagna to go tomorrow, and Ward to come in with 1 point.

Very happy with that - unless Ozil goes nuts tomorrow - but even then I'm not sure too many people have him

73 with Mertesacker to go tomorrow night.

56 after BPs, will probably be seeing red arrows tonight but hopefully will be back to green after my 3 Arsenal players are done!

City CS is not a great news but not a catastrophy too. Yaya 3 points will do considering Silva got 4. FPL says he has a back problem. I haven't scrolled back the thread yet. Is it serious? Or just another knock and Pellegrini played it safe with him (especially that he got a knock on his anckle in the midweek game and went in Nigeria to receive the African Player of the Year Trophy - BTW nice French accent Gnegneri ).

Then Liverpool conceding 3 is great news! Take that f@#&%$ useless Mignolet (sorry but this eases yesterday Marshall hurting failure :D). And Suarez (C) doing the biz again. An almost perfect afternoon of FF.

70 pts with Sagna and Ozil to go tomorrow.

One is where another player interfered with the ball and the other there is no player interference. Its black & white for me

71 (-4) only blot on my copybook was having Gabby as first sub as opposed to Clyne. Wildcard still to come in a few weeks

Match points are confirmed now so it wont be changed

The other is where an inanimate object served the same purpose as the keeper and rebounded the ball.

It's grey as fook for me but doesn't look like it'll be changed now anyway,

The rules for assists are around player interference and what conditions have to be satisfied for an assist to be awarded, nothing in those rules relating to the goal frame

    Keeper saved so no assist

Sturridge did well to keep it in play though and score

72 with Kos, Ozil and Giroud still to play, first good week in about 5....

5 behind in cup game with only Kos to play for him, so need Ozil or Giroud to do something

Your cup opponent scored 77? Ouch

A 0-0 draw might get you through! Seems to be the score that most people want :)

    Average updated 47

Dropped 8k places from yesterdays score,93k to 101k. Still happy with 2 to play.

Ye, he had Adebayor, Welbeck, Fonte and Eriksen that I didn't have who scored well

I have Lalana, Kolorov, Giroud, Lukaku and Ozil to make up the difference

    Gonna be interesting at least!

Much better today, likely to finish on 68 (-4) once the bonus points are added. Have 2 more points coming off the bench and Sagna/Cazorla to play tomorrow night.

Dropped to 11K last night, which was a drop of 4K places, hopefully can get back up to 7K after tonights rankings get updated

Bingo, back to roughly where I started the gameweek.

Too much to hope for quiet nights from Ozil and Mertesacker tomorrow?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,605 ✭✭✭Fizman

On 69 (-4), with Ozil and Giroud to play so obviously hoping for big goals from both sides tomorrow!

Hoping it should be enough to get me into the top 50k (at 60k at the start of the week).

My cup opponent is on 89.....yes 89.....with Giroud left to play!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

Back up to 212k now. Arteta and Kos do ye'r thing tomorrow and I might even get close to where I started the week :pac:

Oh this season is a funny one.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,675 ✭✭✭HighClass

56 points has me dropped to 200k. Only upside is I have 3 players left to go, downside is they are all on the same team, the week could either way really. Need some magic from Ozil!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,126 ✭✭✭Reekwind

60pts with three Arsenal players to play. Looking like a decent week

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

Overall rank updated, I've dropped back 4k places to 28k despite scoring 64. This is 300 spots lower than where I started the week, the actual average for the week so far (with points hits taken into account) is 65! Happy enough with this though, I have Mert, Sagna and Ozil tomorrow so confident of making a decent jump.

Quick view of the stats of top active managers shows:

    1/7 managers have Szczesny
    2/3 managers have Mert
    1/7 managers have Koscielny
    1/10 managers have Sagna
    1/3 managers have Ozil
    1/40 managers have Ramsey
    1/12 managers have Giroud

I can't see many points coming off the bench for people so any points picked up tomorrow will boost me up the rankings. Mert and Ozil are owned by a lot but Sagna is a massive differential! Could realistically crack the top 20k tomorrow with an Arsenal CS, only need to make 9 points on the masses. Only one to watch out for is Giroud scoring.

Please, please let Sagna not play tomorrow. I've Kolarov sitting pretty on my bench with 12!!
