Btw, Jelavic to Hull is a great signing for them, but in FPL terms I'd say it mainly increases the appeal of Hull attacking mids such as Huddlestone or Meyler in the WC.

Just a question , say if I buy zaha as a united player and he moves to Cardiff , or will I have to wait for him to move to Cardiff to make the transfer ?

    How much is Jelavic?

    6.9m

Can't see him being a viable third striker given the other options out there.

2 attackers each from Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal would be my worry. Try mixing it up a bit. Get a Chelsea/City attacker/mid

    Which is better...

Cabaye and Oscar or Hazard and Barkley

If you already have 3 United players you will have to wait to make the move. Otherwise you can do it whenever you want. If he changes team you'll see his jersey magically change in your FF team once updated on the FPL site :D.

Is it your WC team ? If so I think Jose Canas or Colback are better options than Ward-Prowse for the 5th midfielder. The latter only got portions of games lately.
McNaughton has only played the last game. Can't you get Ben Turner instead? Or if you want very cheap Mariappa at £4.0m from CP.
I'd also have Lallana ahead of Lennon.
Finally you have no City and Chelsea attacking cover. Can you get Aguero when he'll be back? If you can't I'd rather have Silva than Gerrard. If you can I'd get Oscar for Gerrard. Not that I don't rate Gerrard but with City's scoring form and Oscar/Hazard one it is "risky" to double up on Liverpool.

    I need a keeper!
I have Mannone & Gazzinga (brought in early in wildcard to try and make 0.1, but it didn't work).
3.1 in the bank holding out for Aguero
Any suggestions or leave it be?

Yep, I'm not too worried about the January transfer window if I'm honest. I can't see anyone new coming in and becoming a 'must-have' ahead of Suarez, Aguero and one of Rooney/Lukaku/Ade/J-Rod/Giroud who will likely be most peoples front line. Then in MF you have Hazard, Oscar, Ozil, Ramsey, Yaya, Silva, Lallana etc that are tying up most of the big spots. Most people are playing 3-4-3 with two of those back spots going to Coleman and Mert, so not much space there for new arrivals.

Arsenal may get in a striker who could be worth a gamble, but I would be surprised if there's a sudden rush to get in a few players. Even if United sign big I wouldn't trust Messi to go there and perform at the moment! And with a lot of wildcarders (me included) leaving a few million in the bank for Aguero, this can be funnelled elsewhere if needed. And I've no problem taking a hit if necessary, but at least I have the choice. Would prefer to maybe take a hit in the future rather than definitely taking one now in the hopes it pays off in a few weeks. I'm happy with pretty much all my team to crack on in Jan + Feb, and barringmy big players all getting injured I can't see how I'll regret my last minute WC last night!

Tempted to pull the wildcard trigger on these moves,

    Walcott,Nasri,Rooney and Davis out

    Ozil,Lallana,Ade and Mannone in

I used my FT already getting Ozil in for Wally.

Or just get Ade in for Rooney for a hit and keep the WC

Sunderland how a lot of CS potential up coming so I wouldn't really bother atm.

Do we have a return date for Aguero lads ?

Like can he make next GW or no chance?

I'd love to cash in an extra £0.1m from Terry but if Aguero can be back for next GW I have to make the move now. It'll be stupid to have to take a 4 point hit just for the sake of £0.1m that close after WCing.

    - edit -

Ah to hell with it. Terry -> Azpi done! Hopefully Mourinho will stand by his sayings now!

    - edit 2 -

And now the WC stress and schyzophrenic tinkering is over. May my team cruise in peace :D

    ALEXANDER
    Speroni

    EVANS
    CLYNE
    KOSCIELNY
    Ward
    Brown

    TOURE
    SILVA
    OZIL
    HAZARD
    Gnabry

    SUAREZ (C)
    NEGREDO
    ADEBAYOR

As one can most likely imagine the lads in caps are my starters for this week. Evans an early risk especially with the doubt but I needed someone below 5.0 to make the rest of my team balance (very expensive front 7) and United are a more solid bet than the other teams with players in that range IMO at least.

Why not save the wildcard till the end of the season, when sh!t gets crazy and you know who REALLY needs to get goals etc

Thats a helluva good front 7.

Because there are maybe 30 weeks before that that you also need to be doing well! The hope is that less changes will have to be made then.

If he got back to his form of this time two years ago he would be. He's a fantastic finisher.

I'm shocked Martinez didn't give him a better chance. That said, I'd imagine Jelavic wasn't willing to play understudy to Lukaku.

Re Aguero. Pellegrini said the next two weeks. He may be ready for a sub appearance against Cardiff next weekend.

BBC said he was back in training four days ago.

It's not just the big sides signing players you need to worry about though. There can often be great value in say a player that has dropped in value making a sideways move e.g. Pienaar going from Spurs to Everton two years ago, Sturridge from Chelsea to Liverpool last year.

Or players coming into mid table teams e.g. The effect Siggy, Cisse and Jelavic had two years ago. Coutinho last year.

I'm already keeping an eye on Jelavic at Hull after that move last night.

I wouldn't think so, and I wouldn't expect him to simply pick up where he left off. City face Spurs and Chelsea after next week, I'll probably hold off until after these games tbh. I have the cash in the bank waiting to get him in but this could just as easily be used elsewhere.

I just posted this on another thread.

I'll see who does well today and might ship Rooney out. I actually think I have enough in the bank to go Rooney to Aguero straight swap.

This article looks hopeful re him:

Pellegrini said: "Aguero continues working and maybe next week he can be fit".

    http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/sergio-aguero-nearing-return-from-injury-for-manchester-city-9051941.html

And BBC ran one saying he was training four days ago. That means he was back training the 6th of January so he only missed about 3 weeks. He was injured 14th December.

City have alot of fixture congestion now and will be eager to have him back on song for Barca.

Re Spurs and Chelsea. He has scored against both already and is fixture proof IMO.
